I posted as an alias. Then, when I'd seen that my alias had been "outed", I edited my post and changed my alias back to my primary handle.

Another poster keeps outing my alias'. I really would prefer my identity be anonymous for obvious reasons.
I had to edit my post and change my alias to my real name since the creep already posted "thanks mist" in his post.
I'm frustrated, any advise?
I'm not sure I follow you here? The other poster said "Thanks Mist" and you're accusing him of outing you? Your alias here is Misty. That's what shows up in your posts. Mist is just a shortened version of that. Not only that but your posts have a direct link to your reviews.
Misty is her TER handle, not an alias. When you post with an
alias it does not link to your reviews nor can you PM the
person.
Misty edited her post and change to her handle (Misty) once the
other poster outted her alias.
This is obvious now AFTER she replied and said it.
Also, check out the time stamps on the posts. I posted before her but since I am moderated my post just showed up later.

Unless the alias you used was really transparent, or you've used
it often in situations where you provided ready correlation to your screen name, how the h*ll did he know you?
