In the last instance, the link that leads to her name/number but no picture is a valid ad, so they may not change it just because you feel you have a better one. The provider may have very well requested it that way as well. Hard to speculate without actually seeing. Again, the best advice is to just ask them by going to  Acct. Mgr. click on review questions, then other questions and ask them, they really don't mind.

If the report new website link is not there then you can just click on Report a Problem and tell them, as well as provide a proper link. If they reject it then I am sure there is a valid reason, just impossible to speculate without seeing. Again, these are questions you can ask staff and get a much more intelligent answer, LOL.

I found some provider profiles with links that had gone bad to cityvibe or craigslist or something.

So I searched on the phone number, and found new ad pages that matched the description of the one with the bad link.

So I open a problem report and write that the site link was bad, and paste in the new one.

But then my problem reports got rejected. Why?

I assumed there was some other process, thing is, I see the "report new web site" link, but how do I report that the link that already exists is bad in the first place? A problem report didnt work, and I can't find another link that does it.

Thanks in advance for any advice. Just trying to do my part to fix up the review pages. ;)

If you are submitting a new CL link they will usually reject it because it will expire in 7 days. If you submit a good link to Cityvibe, Eros, Backpage, website or anything else that will last they should post that. If they reject it then in Acct. Mgr. click on review questions, then other questions and ask them, they will tell you. Maybe the link you gave them did not work for some reason or they have some sort of problem with the ad. You never know, I had one rejected last month cause the ad had her picture and phone, but not her name. I did not realize the ad does not even have to have a picture, but must have her name and phone. Kept my review from being posted for a couple of weeks too, LOL.

You should click on 'report new web site', you do not have to tell them their link is bad, they already know that or 'report a new website' link would not even be there. Hope that helps.

The new web sites were cityvibe, so that wasn't the problem. They had names, phone numbers that matched up, and pictures. One of the names was slightly different, from "ruby" to "sexyruby13", same person pretty obviously, though.

In these cases, the report new web site isnt available because the non-working link is still there. Is there any way to just report that the existing link is bad?

In one case, the link leads to name/number with no pic and no other text. Is TER rejecting my update because they think the name and number with nothing else is not replaceable?

you can report bad site by itself in the report a problem box. Just list ad expired or something similar.

If the name and number is the same as before then the new link should be accepted. But if it differs, they have no way to verify it is indeed for the same person.
