Re: Review Honesty (for NOOB)

ONG,
I have been active on another forum for a couple of years before finding TER.  I was under the mistaken impression that the other forum was "honest" but I now understand that the other site is mainly paid by the ladies...  so caters to them.  There is no check on false reviews and they can reply to negative reviews or even get them removed.

In general, it seems that TER revies are pretty consistent with previous reviewers.  Maybe up & down one number on the very limited number scale.  By this I mean that one really needs VIP to read the written VIP part.  "Average" or "once in a life time" etc really depends on who you are & who you're seeing, doesn't it?

Sites with check off boxes are a mine field...  Is average a bad thing?  Is the  lady "attractive"?  In my experience, my opinion of a lady's appearance is just naturally affected by the quality of our activities.

TER is a service for the guy and it costs more (fewer free days per review) or in bought member days...  but that's the cost of belonging to a site who caters to the male perspective.

I'm using an alias to protect the other party involved.  The situation I describe did not occur on TER but on a competitors web site.  I have only had two experiences with escorts (so far).  I reviewed them both and posted them on the three boards I use.  Both of my experiences were positive and I thought the reviews were.  I did rate one of the providers as average in appearance and commented on her "curvyness" in the members only section of the review.  The review was accepted and posted but a few days later I got an email from the review site stating that my review was being removed due to questions of veracity raised by the provider.  I've since written the provider to ask her about specifics and have not gotten a response.  My question is this: as a new hobbyist should I refrain from giving critical reviews until I have established myself with several providers?  I was hoping to use this provider as a reference and I think I may have burned that bridge.
Perhaps a Noob should refrain from anything but giving great reviews until he is well established.  I am also concerned about the objectiveness of this other review site.  I assumed that reviews are opinions and one is free to accept or reject at their discretion.  I was not unkind or vulgar in any of my remarks.  The extent of my critique was "curvyness" and "average".  I hope that I have not violated some cultural limits peculiar to the hobby of which I am unaware.

Honesty, delivered with gentle grace, is a paramount requirement for review boards to be effective and meaningful.

On occasion, a provider will take umbrage over a remark and complain, and the review board may or may not respond by taking down the review.

That's part of the breaks of this game but that does not mean that anyone should think of writing inaccurate statements, whether newbie or not.

Honesty is always the best policy. Each reviewer can and most probably will have a different view of an experience. We are individuals. Each review (for the most part) is subjective. Ask 5 people who witnessed the same event and you are likely going to get 5 slightly diffferent answers. That where YMMV comes from.
It's the collective weight of all the reviews for a provider that will give a better idea of what to excpect.

and you describe it how you see fit.  Some of the categories and templates of this site and others ask you to rate aspects of your experience in ways that can be statistically reported for search reasons, but you are held to the the standard of reporting it like it was, not what someone wants it to be.

As mrfisher stated, stick to your guns.  You spent the time with the lady, you had your unique experience with her, and only you can tell us how you felt about it and her.

If everyone is honest, then everyone benefits, because we should all know that we don't taste, feel, smell, cum, or emote the same as our brothers and sisters in the hobby, but we can all take a little from each other's experiences in determining who to see or not.

Good luck

You have no control over what the screeners do or don't do. Be honest and and respectful in your review, and you'll have way more approvals than rejects.

I heard back from the provider and she correctly pointed out that my 4 cup experience probably rated better than what I gave her.  She was genuinely hurt by the review.  I edited my review and made some changes that did not compromise my integrity and made her feel better.

The lesson learned for me was that TER respects the opinion of the reviewer and the other site involved does not.  I have to give Props to TER for their policies.

reviews are SUBJECTIVE, not objective.  You can have a four cup experience that is a 7 as well as one that is a 9 or 10.  Hell, back in the day when I could still see my po-po, I'd regularly have a 4 cupper in the tube sock, and consistently rated myself a 5 (6 with the left hand).

Good luck

compared to either of my hands it deserved a 10...

Compared to the limited landscape of my experience...who knows.  I know I need to collect more data to refine my critical skills.  I'm collecting again tomorrow :).

Just be honest.  If one lady won't see you because you didn'r give another lady all 10's, perhaps you should look for another.  All that I have visited are just great.
