Another New England championship on the way.

especially the commissioner, the giant middle finger and saying, "DeflateGate this!"

Okay, so let's assume Brady actually deflated the footballs. It's a mere equipment violation and for such a travesty as that, should have been dealt with monetarily (i.e. a fine to Brady and the Patriots). At most a game suspension, but even that is a tad harsh.

The problem for Roger is that after he basically let the Pats off the hook for the more egregious offense of Spygate, many of the other owners were annoyed at the relatively light punishment the Patriots received. So when he had a chance to punish them (and specifically Brady) again he took it to the other extreme. The NFL was determined that Brady would be suspended for multiple games and after two years of utter nonsense, Brady served his four games.

The whole season has been one big middle finger to the rest of the league and Commissioner Goodell.  If the Patriots win it all and Roger has to hand Kraft/Bill/Brady the SB trophy, that alone would be worth the price of admission.

Just making the playoffs in the NFL is difficult. To get to a conference Championship Game is an incredible accomplishment....many players in the league never even experience those heights.

It is utterly amazing what the Patriots have done since 2001.  4 SB titles. 6 SB appearances, 11 AFC Title games.... Are you kidding me?? It's unfathomable what they have accomplished.  Just as we still talk about Lombardi's Packers of the 60's, 50 years from now we'll be talking about Bill/Tom and their near 20 year dominance.

Really tough one today for any die hard Steeler fan to take (I didn't sleep). Not because they lost, (they got beat soundly by a vastly superior team in their building), but because I know just how difficult it will be to even get back to this same position again. Zero guarantees in the NFL. Chances to go the SB come around so infrequently. Football is not a playoff driven league. Injuries and the bounce of the football derail most seasons. You have to seize the moment when its presented to you.  And that's what makes the Patriots great...Time and time again they seize the moment.

God keeping my fingers crossed for a good game! The Pats  and Atl dominated GB and the stealers I hope
It's a good game. Pulling for ATL lol we shall see. I think it comes down to experience when it comes to the Super Bowl but I'm hoping Atlanta has more drive than the Pats do and take it home.
