MS, your instincts are correct. While a well reviewed TER lady may throw an ad on CL every once in awhhile, you really need to do your research, wherever you look on the web. There are a number of other web sites for you to read.
Stay with well reviewed TER providers and you should enjoy the hobby. Remember think with your big head not your little one. At this stage of your hobby career I wouldn't recommend TOFTT.
I am rather new to contacting. Yes, I have read the faq board, and read the other posts. My question is how reliable is Craigslist? I have been checking CL for the last month to see who is a normal poster and who is not. I look for a reference here but I see no such reference.
The adds I am talking about are the real lookers that say I am new to the area, or last day. The rates seem too good to be true. Which leads me to believe they probably are to good to be true.
The last couple of times I did a quick google search on some of these fresh new providers listed, and found different images posted for their same number. Other times nothing listed at all (google,eros,yahoo, bigdoggie, ect.). Regardless, I think I am going to stray away from these numbers for now. Would anyone give advice on trying new contacts, or would advise to stay away?
have failed to learn the most important thing. You are doing it all backwards. When you are just beginning, quit looking at the hot ads then trying to find out if she is legit. Instead, get a VIP membership, search for well reviewed ladies in your area and then pick one that suits your fancy.
You are right to be cautious about those CL ads for the reasons you state and I must aaplaud you for being able to do some of the research you have done. That kind of research usually is reserved for guys who have already hobbied a bit.
So stay away from those numbers and see a well reviewed provider. Read the reviews and her website. Then make the contact according to her web sites instructions.

In that you are doing your research before contacting these ladies. If they do not have reviews, then you are taking a real gamble. When you see several different pictures coming from the same phone number, that can be really bad unless you find out for a fact that several ladies are using the same number, but that probably is not the case. It all depends what level of risk you are willing to take with the unknown, your safe bet is to stick with well reviewed ladies. I wish you well.
The only thing i can tell you, OP, is that get a VIP membership and do more extensive research... i would avoid sites like CL because its to open and unreliable
about 80% of what you read is a lie, most of what you see is fake, bait and switch or airbrushed and what you get in the end is aggravation for all you hard....
I think you know that your not ready for the likes of CL but just need a little reasurance. Maybe wasting your money or getting busted will do that.
I'm a CL lady from the start who now advertises there from time to time. Hey, it's free and I do meet great guys like yourself who have been ripped off before. They love me and come back for more.
Please keep yourself safe and make sure the phonenumber in any ad matches the profile on TER. Anyone can use my picture or name but the phone rings for only me.

ManSnow, like many guys, I became aware of CL before I knew about TER. I spent a couple weeks looking at the posts every day. My first two hobby experiences came from ladies who only placed ads on CL.
The first was with a lady that in retrospect, I would have not chosen to see had I been able to read her VIP TER reviews. My whole visit with her lasted twenty minutes.
On my second CL experience, I met a lady who had just started in the business. We both had been involved only two or three weeks when we first met.
This lady has gone on to become one of the most popular and highly rated TER reviewed ladies in Orlando and is very active in the TER community. Once she discovered TER, she immediately stopped her CL ads. Her prices now are almost double what they were when I first saw her and the demand for her time continues to grow because she is so highly rated and thought of.
From everything I have learned in my year or so in the hobby, I think I was just extremely lucky. Statistically, the chances of ever being lucky like that again are so low as to be almost non existent.
The downside is just too great on CL to take the chance, even if the lady's costs are significantly lower. There is usually a very good reason the costs are different.
Believe me, the cost of a VIP membership is the greatest thing you can do to enjoy your hobbying experience. I have found over the past few months using my VIP ability to rank and search for ladies, I have been able to tailor my appointments to only those ladies I know I will have a fantastic time with.
I agree with you to a point. I got my vip here, and looked looked looked. The main problem with ter vs cl is location and user friendliness. Ter focuses mainly on several big markets, and dumps everything else in the other category- which makes looking for a provider in a certain place a lot harder... The regional boards reflect this too. CL has a section for each state, with subsections for several cities/regions within. MUCH more user friendly. However, reviews are few and far between, and a bad review usually gets flagged off by the reviewee as soon as they see it... If we could only combine the best features of both...
Yep, it pays to do your homework, but there will always be a risk in this hobby, as long as narrowminded people keep prostitution illegal. That simply ensures that the hobby will always have close ties to the black market, and that those who participate can have no legal recourse when things go bad.
Whatever you do, just be careful, and do as much homework as you can. I may be a raving paranoid, but I always try to leave myself an out- just in case... As always, if she mentions $$ and sex in the same convo- or tries to get you to do so- hang up!!!!!
Absolutely right on there boomman. TER isn't exactly user friendly for those of us in fly over country.
