Hi, I'm a VIP member and have researched on this board for about 2-3 months. I think I'm finally interested in meeting with a provider. I'm in my early 20's, and the provider I am interested in is also in their early 20's. They have about 15 reviews, and I don't think they work with an agency.
A problem is I've never had a girlfriend and have never been intimate with a woman. What do you think my chances are of meeting with this provider? And do you think it's an ok idea spending my first time with someone who's also in their early 20's?
I suspect the biggest hurdle will be overcoming is the reference factor.
Most gals want a reference and since you don't have one yet, they may demur.
Have you thought about joining a screening club like RS2K or similar outfit? That might do the trick. Otherwise be prepared to write to the provider and explain your situation as sincerely as you can. Also be prepared to share lots of personal information like where you work, etc. so that they can check you out. Good spelling and grammar count!
As for the age of the provider, there's at least a perception that the older gals are more suited to first timers and especially virgins, but that's not always the case.

I'm in a similar position. I'm not a virgin, but I'm 27, so I'm having a tough time getting started. I signed up for Date-Check and I'm currently awaiting verification; so I'll see where that goes.
FWIW, just find someone (reliable) that you like, younger or older, and close the deal. It doesn't matter if it goes perfectly or not; you'll reflect on it later and start thinking of ways to better enjoy yourself.
In my case, I'm really hoping to find a gal in her mid-thirties before I'm actually that age (hence, less intriguing).
Date-Check, Preferred411, etc. are all great services but at first will not be a sure key to open provider's doors. The value to these services is that they collect and display your references to other provider members for you, so at first you may very well still have the no reference problem to deal with.
First off, you are looking for a provider, not a girlfriend. You don't want to "find your "perfect mate". You need to keep "Temporarily Yours" in the back of your mind. Falling for a provider is the best way to never see her again.
That said, I'd look for a 30ish woman who is sympathetic to your plight. Virginity is not fatal. But you want a more experienced (both physically & emotionally) lady to lead you through the experience.
Save this perfect choice for later... you can still truthfuly say you're pretty new & nervious but you won't have so much to lose if it doesn't work out.
Picking a well reviewed provider pretty much assures that you won't have certain scams done to you but is no guarentee of chemistry. Sometimes it's there, sometimes not. I don't hold it against a lady if it's not, but I know to move on.
