I am new to TER andI tried to post a comment and piture on the general discussion board a couple days ago and it never showed up...
Has this happened to anyone?
Without knowing what you wrote, I have no idea why your message wasn't posted, and given the traffic on that board, the moderator does not usually indicate why a post is declined.
Keep this in mind - advertising of any kind is not allowed on the general discussion board. That would include something like "Hi guys, new provider here" and pictures of you.

Do you have the TER "seal" on the front page of your site? Posts are not allowed on the regional boards without this.
Secondly, you are probably still being moderated. Newbies, until they establish a pattern of posting, e.g. "they do not post malicious posts, attempt to start flamefests, etc." are moderated by the individual board moderators. What this means is that each of your posts is read, reviewed and then eventually posted. Dependent upon the traffic on that board, it may take a few days. Be patient.
Also, if you were posting an ad on the local board, and you have already posted an ad that week, your post will not be put on the board as only 1 ad is allowed per week!
Also once you have established yourself as a person who does not cause problems on the board, you can write to the board moderator and request to have the moderation removed and your posts will appear in "real time."
