Any good agency that I have ever dealt with has asked me for my real name as it appears on my driver's license.  When I arrived for the appointment I asked by the lady to show the ID.

Agencies are not interested in getting you in trouble at work.  That would be bad business.

I thought this would be applicable on the newbie board.

When you first using an agency, do you actually give out your real names?

The reason for this is I always told my real name on the id and now I'm slightly curious that it will get to my workplace somehow. (Not Independent, but agency)

Because my name is so unique and simple, it is really easy to remember.

You will need to do this, whether agency or indies.  Many ladies will ask to see i.d. such as a drivers license at the beginning of a first meeting.  They do this ensure their safety, not becuase they wish to get you in trouble.  I have always found that working with the ladies on these issues will generally yield good results, so best you read their websites and reviews beforehand so that you will know what to expect.  Good luck!

Also, if you're arranging for an outcall to a hotel, the provider will ususally call to verify that you're in the room. They have to know what name the room is registered under.
