Caution

I have seen a number of providers and have conversed with an even larger number.

I have never had any detailed conversation prior to the meeting regarding details of services offered.

In fact, most of the ladies I have seen and talked with specifically spell that out on their web sites that any questions about services will cause the conversation to end immediately.

I would proceed with caution.  From my experience, this seems outside the norm.

I came across a provider listed with another site, her ad mentions that she likes something that is my favorite activity. The ad listed no rates but did have an email contact listed. I wrote the provider to make certain I understood her services, availability, specials and rates and she responded the next day.

In the providers response email she mentioned the name of her apartment building in Downtown L.A.

How can I tell if this is not a set-up by LE?

This sounds like a newbie provider mistake...  but who knows, it could be a sting.  She did not provide an appt. number.  I've heard of a few that have given appt number on the first call & it made me uneasy.
Be careful.

The mentioning of specific sex acts is a big red light.  On the other hand, the lack of any rate information would seem to indicate that she may not be LE as LE would have a much easier time of making a conviction stick if they can demonstrate that the activities were a sex for money transaction.

On the other hand, providers who do not list fees are suspect of all kinds of chicanery such as bumping up prices, etc.

Any smart provider would never mention service and price anywhere in a conversation with a perspective client. The website should have every bit of information you need for those tricky questions.

Now if this is a sting they would leave that info out for you to put foot in mouth and do the easy work for them. No entrapment here you put it on in an e-mail. Oh my god! So easy to get you with one simple e-mail.

This girl may or may not be LE but she sure is dumb to set herself up this way. If she sent you this type of e-mail she has done it often and LE or a nosy neighbor already knows what games she is playing.

Real story speaking of nosy neighbors in Orlando so just get this picture.

Two providers located in semi nice residential area advertise on eros and a few other sites. Someone sees the pics and recognizes them. Next thing you know all these nice gentlemen that come park their car with no clue, that as soon as they enter the front door someone is writing down their plate number. Oh yes, for a month. Next a phone call is made to a local TV station and I guess the rest is history. One way to rid your neighborhood of unwelcome guests.

Do yourself a favor and find an experienced lady who has some reviews don't take a chance of landing up on you local news cast.

Thanks everybody !

Lemme try to give you all an overview:

I saw the providers listing in Cr##gsL##t, she didn't link to any reviews but her ad mentioned certain acronyms regarding her services along with a link that leads to her web cam with email address. I emailed asking for rates and she responded via email with the information specifically mentioning fees related to each fetish service she provides as well as the Hourly rates for PSE & GFE. To verify clients the provider asks that you fill in a form WITH all the pertinent ID information along with a credit card # that she says has nothing to do with paying for her web cam shows and there will be no billing, it's used she said to verify clients.

I have never heard of anything like this, has anyone else here? I have seen sites featuring porn stars who ask for a profile sheet to be filled in and there's a minimal $2.50 processing fee use to verify the info.

I saw a feature on CNN last night called S*X for Sale where they discussed C###gsL##T ads for Erotic services, maybe that was an omen?

I would never see a lady who advertised on CL who had no reviews. There are too many honest legit providers with reviews on other sites. It's just to risky to do anything with CL. IMHO

I think it's wisest to stick with TER and only with providers with multiple reviews, right?

I may be stupid but I aint dumb !

HI,
I know this one. The exact "con" you've been talking about, where "she needs your CC info but will not use it " is a pure lie and con to get and charge your CC for a porn membership charge each and every month. The charge may be as low as $7.95 (this low amount stays under the CC fraud radar) or as much as $ 27.95 per  month.

They send you the costs for the acts like they're actually going to do these to or for you. This excites the common man and he loses his head and freely sends his private information.

I'm very sorry to break this to you, but check you CC cards account for the latest charges. Confirm you made each one, if you find that you have indeed been fraudulantly charged, DON'T BE SHY, CALL YOUR CC CARD FRAUD LINE AND REPORT YOUR NUMBER HAS BEEN STOLEN O THE INTERNET.
DO NOT SAYTHAT YOU COOPERATED WITH THIS CON, JUST TELL THEM THAT IT'S NOT TO BE USED.

The CC card company will immediately close that account number and then send you a new card (with your old balance to pay of course) in 7-10 days. This shuts down any fraudulant activity.

Elton:

No CC info given ... NO WAY, I'm not nearly as dumb as I look.

there is no reason at all for her to have your CC number. Ever.

And anyone who links to another site in their ad where they ask for $ to process info, is usually a scam. Pass on it.

BTW, its okay to say CraigsList here. They are not a rival to TER. Most just abbreviate it CL and everyone gets the reference.

I really appreciate the feedback, there sure seems to be a lot of cool & helpful people here.

I wanted to use my example of potential red flags and rip-off artists if it helps others, like I mentioned there were many things that didn't make much sense to me so I thought I'd run it by the TER community.

Thanks Again !

You've come to the right place for answers and cool people!  This site is all about helping each other stay safe and have fun.  When you do find a nice lady, don't forget to review her as a means of giving back to the community.

Below is the link I was asked to go to by the provider, she said I needed to fill out a form for security reasons - BELOW:

IN ORDER FOR US TO HAVE A SESSION TOGETHER THERE

( http://oozaeph.notlong.com)  THERE IS A CHARGE OF 2.97
