Their message would be appropriate for a F board!!!!

Tom Brady has not yet played a down, and the Pats still look like one of the best teams in the league.  Looks like another season pursuing perfection; and a very long playoff run.

this is turning into one of Belichick's best coaching jobs. He keeps coming up with ways to put the Pats in position to win, despite not having Brady and Gronkowski. New England's strong point so far has been their defense. It appears to be quicker and faster than in recent years. They still have to play at Pittsburgh and Denver, and at home against Seattle and Baltimore, so there's probably a loss or two in that bunch.

The key is health - if they had been healthy last year they would have won the AFC and probably the Super Bowl.  But having to play hurt 3rd and 4th string tackles late in the year killed those chances.  Agree though, this team when healthy is better than last year's team when healthy.

One week the Patriots throw 50 times. The next week they run 50 times. Belichick is a master at figuring out how to game plan for a particular opponent for that week. He'll figure out what you can't stop and then run play after play attacking your weakness. Conversely, defensively, he'll game plan to take away what you do best. If your a running team, he'll make sure you have to throw in order to win. He is also the best in game adjustor in the league. If on the rare occasion things aren't working for the Pats, he'll quickly flip a game plan for success. Also the Patriots don't beat themselves. Since 2001 (Brady era) that Pats are something like a ridiculous plus 165 in turnover ratio. The next closest is team is around a plus 85.

The odd's of perfection are severly stacked against them, but 13-3 or better is certainly obtainable.

What's amazing is that the media/fan base killed the Pats for hiring him. He was awful in Cleveland and thought of one those re-tread ex coaches who nobody is excited to bring in....Sort of the same backlash that the Yankees received when they hired Joe Torre in 1996 (and that worked out okay)

what does their record, to date, say about the talent on that team; players and coaches as well?  No matter how amazing Tom Brady may, arguably be, looks like they have not even missed a beat without him.  Truly scary!
