After 67 year being the voice of the Dodger, Broadcaster Vin Scully will announce his last game this Sunday at home, Dodger Stadium. I grew up in LA as a true Dodger fan from the early 60's. No one can paint a picture of the game better than Vinnie. I remember laying in bed with my transistor radio next to my ear,visualizing the game as Vin describe the game as only he can.It was like I was actually there. My son grew up with him and now I feel like part of my past is gone, but the memories will be with us forever ...Best to Vin and thank you.

subsequently listened to a great deal of Ernie Harwell (another iconic voice) broadcasts, I extensively travelled around the country (thanks to the US Navy), and eventually fell in love with the storytelling of Vin Scully, and the greatest voice ever in sports broadcasting. He is a true American treasure, and will be sorely missed.
