Most of the M & Gs are structured for the providers and hobbyists who live in a certain area to familiarize themselves with each other.  I have attended one and it was a nice evening.

I have a fondness for black providers, and think it would be neat to have a M & G just for the lovely ladies of color and the guys who love them!

If interested, please post and/or pm me.

It would not be appropriate to have a black provider only M&G, IMHO.
What if someone advertises a white provider only M&G?
What if someone advertises a 120 pound limit on providers?
Our hobby is supposed to bridge some of the gaps, not create more.
As an alternative, you may consider contacting some ladies of color and encourage them to attend the next M&G in your area.

So, by using your logic, it is racist to be allowed to search for providers on TER based on race?  What is wrong with having a preference?

Maybe such an event would allow those who have never met with an African-American provider the opportunity to do so in a less threatening environment.

I have spoken with many African-American providers who feel that their income potential is less than their white counterparts, due to their race.  This could be an opportunity for them to meet more hobbyists and expand their client base.

This could be an excellent chance to bridge gaps and foster understanding (not that I ever thought that was a purpose of our hobby).

Doing a search on TER based on race is not racist because all races are listed. It's your preference whom you choose to see. Now if TER excluded anyone race that could be construed as racist.

The fact that you want to exclude certain races, in this case all races except Black, makes it racist. If a M&G was held and it was white only, that's racist. Using the same logic, having a Black only M&G is also racist. What many people don't understand is, if something is racist for one race, it's racist for all races.

I have expressed a preference.  I have not attempted to denigrate or humiliate anyone based on their race.  I think it would be nice to attend an event which focused on the type of ladies I am interested in meeting.

Please be careful when making such harsh accusations about someone whom you have never met or spoken with.

You said it the right way, which I tried to say it that way in my own words, but you said it better.  That is true, that having Black at M&G is racist, same thing if having white only at M&G is also racisit.  Also, when you said, when having something is racist for one race, it's racist for all races.  That is what I was trying to say, that if you prefer blacks, than over other nationalities, that is conciders racist, that it what I was trying to say, that a person put out an ad like that can harm other providers, because they are not part of it of what they are looking for.  Do I make any sense here?

Hugs and Kisses,
Missy

There is nothing wrong for African American providers, I have met them on the East Coast and the West Coast which I have live on both sides.  This is not a fair message for all providers, because there are providers with all different nationalities have the same situations as the African American providers believe it or not, because we are in a recession.  If their income is less than women with different nationalities, then they chose to have their rates lower, not us.  Every providers make their own rates.  As far as the preference goes, it should be confidential, not to put this post on the board.  It may or may not be discrimination to us who have different nationalities.  You should be able to use the Gentlemen Board to discuss this, not the Public Board. You might harm some of the providers here, because they are not African American Women.

I hope I did not offended you, just, I do support every women with different nationalities, and speaking whether I have expereiences with the African American Women, yes I have and they have great personalities too if you treat them right and with respect.

Also, not everybody are against the Afrian American Women, I knew some clients on both coasts do see African American Women, so I would find that hard to believe they can't get a client.  Besides, there should be no difference than any providers, just because of their nationality.  Look at me, I don't have any problems getting clients due to the facts that I am partically deaf and partically speech impairment.  So, if I can get clients, so can they.

Thanks for the comment about the M&G, it was a nice evening.
Now, I will say that when I was planning the Tampa M&G that you attended, I made an effort to go out and invite as many of the ladies who weren't as active on the boards as others. That included a large number of ladies of color.
Very few responded and of the ones that did, only 2 actually came.
My advice is if you want to have a M&G invite any one you want, as a host, you have that right. But, don't limit it to a certain group. That will create more hard feelings.
Make an effort to approach the ladies you are interested in and convince them that attending the M&G is a good idea.
As you well know, I had to do some convincing to get a certain lady to attend....LOL

Good luck, and be thinking about October for the next Tampa October Soiree'.

Bob, thanks for the advice.  You put on a nice event back in March, and I'm sure that October will be a fun time, as well.  I doubt that I'll be able to make it down for that one, though.
