You can certainly bring condoms with you to be on the safe side though any well reviewed provider is going to have them on hand. In point of fact, many ladies will only use the ones that they provide.

OK, so I'm ready to take the plunge and try this hobby for the first time ever.  I've even set up a date with a very well reviewed provider.  I'm psyched!  This should be great!

So, here's my doofy newb question: Because she's obviously well-respected and well-reviewed within the community, should I be the one bringing a cover, or should she?  Furthermore, because I've been snipped and never normally use one, what would you recommend?

I'm guessing this isn't something I should ask her because of the implications, but you fine folks can tell me what do do, right?

Most will always have a cover, but personally, I never leave home without them! As far as you having been 'snipped' and you normally never use one....I would not even think about ever, ever bringing up that conversation or she will introduce your Newbie self to a 'Swirlie' LOL!

Always bring your own condom.  While most girls will always have them and are responsible - I even have flavors... safety is YOUR responsibility too.

Have fun,
TS Jamie :-)

If you're the type who requires a special size, let her know so she can be prepared.  Have fun and we'll be on the lookout for your review!

My general impression is a SMART provider will already have that ...covered! It never hurts to be prepared though. A most recent provider of mine (now a former ATF), never seemed to be prepared. I always pack my own now, just in case.

And - have fun! This is a great hobby, and as long as you don't do anything stupid (like see an un-reviewed SP) you'll have a blast!

While everyone is feeding you the "a well-reviewed pro will have her own, but it doesn't hurt to bring your own" line, I would refrain from offering that advice until I knew one thing:  are you single or do you have an S.O.?  If you're married (or with an S.O.) and you "bring your own just in case", there's a real good chance you won't be using your own (as others have said) many pros will want to use their's for safety reasons.  So what happens if you fail to get rid of your condom(s) purchase and the S.O. finds it?  "Honey, what's this?  Why do you have these; you've been snipped!"

I would hold off on the condom purchase for now.

A professional lady will have them available...  but I always have a couple in my pocket just in case.
(Don't carry them in your wallet and make sure they are fresh.)
