Being a Chicago Bulls fan since the 60s I had no desire to watch a conceited Warriors team take the mantle from the Bulls as having the "greatest season ever". Thank you Cavs for walking the walk!

Gotta be happy for those long suffering Cleveland fans. They certainly deserve this

thought the Warriors handled the entire pursuit of and ultimate achievement of their 73 win season with complete class. They embraced chasing the record and accepted the challenge of achieving it. All of this despite MANY former NBA players (including the immortal in Oscar Robertson) chastising the team and trying to diminish the way they played. How many times did we hear "Well, back in my day, the Warriors would never have been able to run their style of offense" or "Back in my day, Steph would have never been able to shoot like he did".  And the Warriors achieved success in an era where the media/social media commented on and critiqued every move they made. MUCH more difficult to win in today's NBA climate.

If you want to crown the 1995 Bulls as having the best season ever, then crown them. But don't take away from what the Warriors just accomplished. Just because they didn't finish it off with a title doesn't diminish what they just achieved.

I didn't see one instance where the Warriors were "conceited" or acted disrespectfully in their pursuit. Yes, they were proud of getting the record and they should be. When only one other team in the history of the NBA won 70 games, what the Warriors accomplished was incredible. It may never be equaled again. And If anything they took the high road over and over and over again after listening to the masses degrade their style of play. Golden State is GREAT for the NBA and hopefully they keep the team together for a long time

LeBron brought it home!  Every true sports fan in this country is with you...enjoy!  You deserve it!
