Agreed. Unless it is to get away from a stalker situation, and the number change also follows a name change, most who continually change their numbers are trying to get away from bad reviews/bad service. The same number connects you to your service history...if the lady is continually upsetting, not using her real pictures, providing crappy services, etc, then they will continually change their numbers, along with the pictures being used. Now, if they just changed their number, but are still using the same pictures and name, then it's possible they just lost/broke their phone, and couldn't transfer the number.

I wouldn't consider a provider getting a new number sketchy. I change my number often and asked TER to change my phone number.

I can appreciate a lady ditching a number to get away from a stalker. But then to publish the new number (ask TER to change the number on your profile) defeats the purpose.

I can appreciate if a lady switches from a real number to a virtual number (like google voice), if she moves and wants a local area code, or going from agency to indy. Otherwise, with number portability, it seems sketchy to me for a lady to be changing her number as often as her hair color.

What reasons do you have for changing phone numbers?

I've heard about a number of sting operations in the area and it looks like some of the regular providers are either using new numbers or their regular numbers are now using new photos - that aren't the provider typically associated with that number.

Any thoughts on if this is just a 'staffing' change or if there is some LE involvement?

That all seems super sketchy, and I would advise you to stay as far away from that situation as possible. Good luck and play safe!

I wouldn't consider a provider getting a new number sketchy. I change my number often and asked TER to change my phone number. There could be many reason why a provider decides to do this. As far as the same number to a new provider it could be possible that they have another girl working with them. Best advice I can give you is to keep conversation to a minimum. Remember LE needs you to talk about an exchange in order to run a sting operation on you! Be safe about it and you should be okay! :)

Im going to show you just how paranoid people get over something so simple as a changed phone number. I have been in this industry for MANY years in this area and all over Wisconsin. I have changed my name and number many times to pass up detection from law enforcement! You say its sketchy but I happen to be the sister of your ATF and she will confirm I'm very far from sketchy.. just cautious! As I said I have been doing this for a very long time. But if you feel how you feel then I understand! I was just making a comment that there are good reasons to why a provider would change her phone number! I get about 10 blocked callers a day or just non sense phone calls!

This thread is actually relevant for my current situation. But it's not my # that has. But, it is my web host. Therefor, I had to re-activate an old website I made once upon a time as a "dry run" so to speak, from a completely different website host. For some reason my now old host, wouldn't allow me to renew my subscription for my personal domaine . Which is BS to me and to my friends.. Add it's a huge pain in my butt due to me now having to rebuild another site from scratch, and lastly, loosing my .com that I owned for this past year & a half .
Now, IMHO
As for "established providers" with different numbers, if she is a business minded woman in this hobby for the long run & whom is building a repature for herself, you'd think she would or should inform the community as to the change. If she just doesn't say anything and no one has heard from her for awhile, be cautious and safe. Always go with your gut feeling before going with what's down south !
In our lifestyle, we need to protect ourself and our friends we've made here.
Backpage girls with new numbers or numbers that have been used for different girls in ad's, just move along to your next option.!
