I think a "fairer" statement is: The lady is there for you to be pleased. Some are better than others at making it pleasing for you. Read the reviews. You could get a "she just laid there" lady, or you can get a "once in a lifetime experience".

Depends on how you define "experience", and what "experiences" you have had. Sex with an escort can be similar to sex with a one night stand, girlfriend, spouse, etc. Some escorts will be better or worse, and some girlfriends will be better or worse.
However, if your sex has been limited to "significant others", and not "casual sex", then what you have experienced is closer to "making love". In that context, sex with an escort will be an entirely different experience. It will actually feel quite empty. Physically fulfilling, but emotionally empty.
