The info you provided on who gives me an idea of who this might be. Would expect that you'll hear back from her the next day, and to be able to set something up after she screens you. BTW, the shortest turnaround I've ever had in the four years I've been hobbying was about five hours...the lady answered the phone when I called (in the afternoon), and since I already knew her and did not need to be screened, I was able to neet her that evening. As a newb, you cannot expect that...unless you want to play with fire on CL...not recommended!

I called a provider today for an incall(my first time ever)... not sure if im allowed to use her name, but judging from the sheer amt of good reviews she is apparently very popular and professional. Any way I called her @ about 730pm, left a brief message( 1st name, phone # , and a message saying i had seen her ad on backpage.com.....no explicit info). it's now ~ 1130pm, and i've not heard back from her. Just wondering if i possibly did something wrong...or if it is normal to wait for 4 hrs for a callback. Her voicemail sts she may be busy and may have to call back the nextday. if it helps she works in south jersey and manhatten in NY....specializes in bbbj. If anyone knows who im talking about pls let me know if you had a similar experience, and should i call again or just wait....id really love to see her b-4 she leaves. thanx and sorry this post is so f**ing long
I'm not from your area but I see nothing glaring wrong in what you did. However, you didn't give her enough information to screen you (you've never seen her before, right?). Did you say that it was ok to call back, that the phone was secure? At that time at night, she might have been closed for the day, not had any time available, away, or just taking a day off.
I'd suggest calling in the morning to set something up for later that day or the next.

It is not unusual at all for a provider to take 24 hours (or longer) to get back to you. As her voice mail said, she's juggling many different things. Especially if you are new and need to be screened, it's a good idea to give yourself 48-72 hours at a minimum to make an arrangement.
Also, if she's very busy she might not get back to you at all. I don't suggest calling her back. You need to wait for her call. A second message won't necessarily help your cause.
If you need to set something up on shorter notice, you may want to consider an escort service. They are set up to respond more quickly than the independents.
Beyond leaving screening info, etc.,:
Set a specific date, time, and length of time for an appointment.
This makes the whole thing much more real for the provider.
She has a schedule and she needs to know if you will fit into it or not.
You can also state alternate times in case she is already booked or just busy at the time you list.
If you wait til the evening to call your first obstacle to overcome is finding anyone that is available.

Not trying to be aggressive but ive got a serious case of blue balls going on here, and her skills just seem amazing. if i cant see her today i guess i'll just have to take care of it myself....Thanx guys for your replies!

I'm looking at an email that came at 10:33pm last night for an outcall at 12am.. like I would? Of course I'm opening it now, this morning. Anyway, a lot of ladies who do incall either don't work in the evening or only work till early evening. It's understandable that you don't get a call back the same night.
other interests (family, a real job perhaps, civic clubs, etc.) as well. Did you give the lady a time window as to when it was "OK" to call you? Most ladies are smart enough not to just call you any ol' time because of privacy issues (SO).
This is one of the reasons I prefer e-mail as a first contact. I usually give the lady 72 hours to get back to me before I move on.
