This is my first trip into the hobby and my first appt is tomorrow. Here's the situation. The provider has 3 pages of reviews since 2006. No reference check has been made, just asked for an ID check at the door. I am driving 2 hours to get to location. We have made about 8 emails back and forth and I think everything is on the up and up. Haven't made phone contact yet, just emails. I've extensively read the discussion boards. No mention of money or services has been discussed, provider does have a website. Think this is safe? Is it ok to use my regular cell phone and is it rude to ask that all our contact be deleted (emails, phone numbers)? Everything seems ok, just checking to see if I'm missing anything. Thanks, all.
1) definitely get a disposable prepaid anonymous cell phone - they sell them at Walmart and many other places, cheap, no record of calls (i.e. your spouse can't subpoena your cell company if it comes to that)
2) not all providers require references, less worry about that with 3 pages of reviews
3) I would not make a big point, but confirming deletion probably OK since most do it, but do it after the session in case she's offended since there is no sense setting a bad tone for the session.
Its too late, but why on earth would you drive 2 hours for your first encounter? Rather I would suggest visiting some local PV establishments just to get used to the idea of going to a strange location, paying, stripping off your clothes in front of a strange woman, then waiting to see what happens. It does take a few visits to get comfortable and relaxed with the process, and this seems a long journey for the unknown. it is never necessary to mention money; And if you want to show her you are not LE, just start off kissing her on the neck, then slowly work you way down and give her some good DATY, after that, she won't have any dounts as to whether you are LE or not.
In any event, just be relaxed and let her take the lead, if she has 3 pages of good reviews, all will likely go well.
Most important though, shower and wash thoroughly so you are clean.
I agree, a disposable cell (mine's A Tracfone) is invalueable.
Use it just for the hobby. Keep it off when not needed, so no one can call you back in front of the wrong people.
Absolutely be squeaky clean.
Don't expect the first date to go perfect... you'll both be nervious... You did your research right here, at least you won't be ripped off. You know how the phone calls work.

Thanks for the advice all. Yeah, I messed up using my own cell. I'm driving that distance because there really is nothing closer that really feels safe. This one does seem to be on the up and up. Many details seem to fit perfectly. If this is not legit, it's the best con ever. I'll be sure to cover my tracks as best I can with the cell phone. I can only hope that mistake doesn't hurt me in the future or in the present! Wish me luck all!
I hope you took the time to go over her website. Be sure you have checked her donation so no mention of money is necessary. I see all lot of newbies in my area and try to make it as pain free as possible. I am a lady who wants to talk to you first. It makes the first meeting much more comfortable. Have you swapped phone numbers.If she only has yours be sure to charge your phone and turn it on as soon as you get in your car. She should know you have a two hour drive and may call to confirm.I find a kiss is the best approach to an introduction. Le will never put their tongue in your mouth. Have fun and write that first review.

If you are going to drive 2 hours to see this lady, I'd be sure to have a plan B and maybe even a plan C in case something falls through the cracks.

Yes I have a prepaid cell because of the SO. I don't know that it would make any difference for LE concerns about tracing, but if you do have a throw-away for use it makes it much easier to dispose of if you needed to. One advantage to having a different cell for hobby use is it can make it easier to avoid getting calls during inappropriate times on your reg cell. I only use the prepaid during hobby times to make and receive calls from the ladies.
