Being a professional athlete doesnt mean your "professional"

art of being a professional football player, especially being the player who is the face of your franchise, is handling adversity. It's not easy, but it goes with the territory. Yes, you should despise loosing and you should be upset/angered after a bitter loss. But you then have to go out there and face the proverbial music and answer all the questions... no matter how annoyed you are.  If you are a top tier QB, chances are you are going to loose playoff games/Super Bowls throughout your career. Nature of the game. But you have to learn to be professional and take the good with the bad.

Cam is one of the young QB's the NFL would love to build around. Heisman winner, league MVP, does a lot of good things in the community and obviously has a strong bond with young children (I think giving them footballs after he scores is tremendous on his part). They see him as a role model. I hope Cam learns from his post SB behavior, because he really has the assets and attributes to be one of the faces of the NFL for a long time.

If I am his teammates, however,  I am more annoyed at him for not attempting to dive on the loose football. 6 point deficit, game on the line. You have to throw your body in there and try and make a play. It's the Super Bowl, not week 3 of the regular season. That was disappointing

Hell and a LB won the MVP
There wasn't much offence going on today.
The bookies lost a lot of cash today.

Don't disagree that the zebras blew some in Denver's favor...but 6 false starts, umpteen 1 and 2 yard runs on 1st down IN A ROW, special team screw ups like blocks in the back and letting the kick returner loose for 60 yards, many turnovers, dropped passes, Newton NOT running, missed throws and a makeable FG and Carolina seemed to do it's best to do the things to lose-Cost me a few hundred and was disappointed-Carolina's defense did its job, but no one else on the team did-Denver deserved the win...Carolina did not       1rob....a tad poorer today....out

what I am puzzled about is I don't think they even mentioned the Carolina all pro tackle (Short?) all game.  Did he not show up, or were they letting him be held?

Panthers, they STILL would have lost.

They were just out played and exposed.
