just got my second review published, the rules say that within 24 hours I can become a vip member, does it happen automatically or do I have to do something else ie like apply for it?

on this board who only get VIP membership via reviews and don't pay for it. Hobbying is a very expensive activity. It seems to me if you can afford to hobby twice a month (which is what you need to maintain your VIP membership) you can afford to pay for the VIP membership. It is so valuable, it seems penny wise pound foolish to do without it just because you don't have sufficient reviews.
VIP for a year is less than an average session. I don't mean to sound like a shill for TER, but WTF with all an active hobbyist gets back, what is the couple of bucks spent for TER?
Yes, the VIP reward is automatic.
I know I started with VIP through reviews. Now I know, this activity has lots of costs higher than a VIP membership... One lousy date costs far more in donation, plus lost opportunity & disappointment than the membership. I wish I'd found TER sooner.
