I just recently emailed one of the providers listed on the reviews, asking for there availiblities and got and auto response from Yahoo saying that my Email and IP address was sent the Criminal Division of the LAPD. Doesn't anyone know what this is? And i am i in trouble? i have never met this person nor spoken to her. I believe she was listed on the site for a massage not an escort? So does anyone know what this is about?
The "criminal division of the LAPD"? What is that? The LAPD's job is to catch criminals I guess it could all be called the "criminal division". What a joke. You've been hoaxed or spoofed or whatever.
the narcotics division deals w/ drugs and prostitution since many pimps are long gone and have been replaced with drug dealers and many escorts use drugs to help them deal with their next client.
I got an auto response from LAPD vice 4 weeks ago then Today got a call from a detective at the wifhire station. He told me they know about "citivibe" & bla bla bla
He gave me till friday to go to the station & see him!
needless to say today I went & prepared a bailbondsmen & saw a lawyer
I don't know for sure, but my best guess is some holy roller is hacking into web sites and emails attempting to do away with the worlds oldest profession.
I doubt you are in any trouble. Is it illegal to inquire?

actually, I'm thinking you emailed or IM'ed a set of providers who were in downtown LA... they were recently busted, and their emails and IM's and passwords confiscated.. (not sure how they managed to legally do that), but they did subsequently set up a sting operation out of that Location.. They have done this in LA and BH befores.. PD does a bust on the incall location, and then set up their people at the phone or computer taking incoming appts, and waiting for clients to solicite...
Its not illegal to send an email, or make an inquiry about something you see on the net. (depends what you wrote in the email) but more than likely you're not in any kind of trouble.. BUT LAPD seems to be on a serious vendetta to shut down the hobby in LA... so if you get an email from a provider you didn't email first, or haven't heard from in a while, you may want to be suspicious of a sting... although that may constitute entrapment if they do that.. not sure....

Probably won't bother you? They will NEVER bother you for sending an email to someone. First of all they don't have the resources to respond to this kind of thing. Secondly, there hasn't even been a crime committed. Sending an email to someone - even if it contains questions about an illegal act - is not a crime. At least not one that the local police have any ability to enforce.
Well, I assume that in sending an e-mail about availability
you did not mention money. It is entirely legal to meet
