From your question I wasn't sure if you were being asked for location or services.

As far as location, it does help to have a vague idea of where you will be in any city (downtown, east side, county Y, etc.).  I don't think that is giving too much away.  If they ask if you are inside the limits of a particular jurisdiction, that may not be a good sign.

As far as services, yes, we do want to know.  You shouldn't discuss them with us and we shouldn't ask you.  But we still want to know and I wouldn't book without having a reasonable expectation that the services I am interested in are available.  That's why this site is valuable for both of us: I don't have to ask, you don't have to tell.  As far as referring a caller to a review site, you could say "I'm reviewed in a number of places" and leave it at that.  I don't think I could provide you with good advice on this issue however.  Maybe a more experienced lady can address any dangers in saying this.

Some guys just don't know any better than to not ask.  Other times it's a situation you don't want to be in.  If you can maintain an acceptable level of business, my advice is to hang up on those that want to discuss services.

As a client...  I'm just now approaching a new lady of interest.
I have checked out her VIP reviews here, and I have checked her web site.  If I had not and asked questions answered there (mainly services, donation, a few current picturs), I'd expect her to direct me there.  Some web sites have a calandar which can show city or town which is enough information to see if it's a location I can get to.  (I contacted a Fav lady after checking her site & finding a town & exit number close to me...  with a single motel in sight of the exit.  Management may wink at such activities but can not withstand public outrage.  I contacted her & she immediately fixed the ad.)  Sometimes I see ads for ladies I know & they list the next town over...  or a place with multiple hotels.
BTW, I'm always suspicious of ads that run the same pict over & over...  too easily fake or old...  I suggest that a lady rotate 4-5 picts...  sexy does not need to be 100% revealing.

We live in the internet/information age and many in this hobby have gotten used to knowing everything there is to know about a lady before they book an appointment.  By the same token, many ladies have built very nice bank accounts because of their great reviews.  
Does it have to be that way? No, not really. As a provider you are free to decide where you will promote your services and how much up-front info you are willing to share.  I have two favorite ladies who have taken very different paths to being successful in this business. One works for an agency and has four pages of great reviews, the other is totally UTR, has no TER presence and no reviews. Both ladies are as busy as they want to be and are never able to take every booking that is available to them.

The choice is yours!

he's going to complain no matter what.  I only do outcalls and I get emails all the time:

"How come you don't do incalls?"  'cause I don't want to!!  
"Can't I come to your house?"  Hell no!  
"$200 is too much, what can I get for $80?"

I just block their email addresses.
