Re:Isn't it against TER rules for two aliases to post on same thread (chowcow and deepbluesea)?

Not from what I can see of the rules. As long as it stays fairly friendly and doesn't take up excessive room on the board, then I see no rule against it.

He seems a bit obsessive but has yet to post anything that is personal or dangerous.

For those of you interested in the latest development in the continueing quest to find the vanishing and reappearing Lady Sylvia of southern California, well, here we go again. (and thanks for all the supportive e-mails from hobbiest and providers, alike. I always apreciate your responses, and I'll try and answer them all. By no means are any of you "butting in". Indeed, it is a very, very, interesting tale....)

Anyway, the saga continues: Lady Sylvia contacted me with a very short e-mail in response to one she recieved from RichAndPretty. Then, I made contact with her. My response was very short, saying in essence that I was glad that she had chosen to answer and that I couldn't think of anything else to say. Several days later-after I'd recieved a couple of understandably short and somewhat understandably abusive e-mails for glen and mobious (TER, Pheonix board)-I recieved a rather lengthy, genaric style e-mail from "Lady Sylvia". Again, in essence, the e-mail said that: she had had some "hard times" but things were better now. she was not pleased with some of my posts, but she understood and thought "what I was doing was sweet"... Also, she made reference to the fact that we were friends and that she wanted to continue our relationship, etc. She mentioned the "alias" and asked if I would give her a "hint" about my identity.
Anyway, to make a long story short, I knew Lady Sylvia for a long time before she confided in me that she was an Escort (now, therein lies a story!). Lady Sylvia and I have copious corresponded in snail mail and e-mail. Now, unless she has under gone some drastic changes-which is very possible-her last e-mail to me was not convincing. I am not convinced it was she. And, "Lady Sylvia" and I have both had or e-mails hacked in the last year-she thinks it that silly, ugly, cowardly, Moslem, old Mohamed. So, in lieu of this, I asked her to provide me with a hint or clue, i.e. something from our past that will confirm her identity. As of yet, I've not recieved a reply; but, it has only been a couple of days.. Well, that's all for now. Duty calls. As always, I apreciate and enjoy your replies and comment, I'll send you (FriendOfLove) a copy of "her" last e-mail, if you like; or, you can e-mail me at [email protected]

Lady Sylvia and I were friends long before she confided in me that she was an escort. I am 30 years her senior and I enjoy/ed her company as she does/did mine. We have many mutual interest outside the escort trade. (I could and will mention them off the boards, if you like.) We think alike and make each other laugh. I am concerned for her saftey and well being. She always set the boundaries of our physical relationship; and, as for the rest, we'll just have to wait and see... I appreciate you replies. You or anyone else can E-mail me at [email protected]

This is a drama, and I hope it has a happy ending. As a matter of fact this drama is getting happier ever day. I'm sure that most hobbiests and provider would agree that sometimes life presents us with a drama and all we can do is our best, and see it through to the end.  If you don't like this drama, or it makes you feel uncomfortable, don't read the posts.

Hey Einstein, if you don't like the replies that you get from posting in a public forum, don't post to begin with.

You need some serious help.

Some of the replies I've recieved are harsh and accusatory. Some are not. And, for whatever reason, most of the people who read the posts do not reply. We have no way of knowing what their views might be. They could correspond to yours or they could be sympathetic to mine. More than likely they are just indifferent to the whole issue of Lady Sylvia's whereabouts.

As always, I appreciate everyones comments and replies. Yours included. And, I'm sorry if my posts upset you. Please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]... Also, I'm still eagerly awaiting the next reply from Lady Sylvia. I truly hope she is happy and alright, and if I hear from her,,,,,well, we will just have to wait and see!

I haven't rented a video in years. I just don't like to sit and stair at the tube. If these posts about Lady Sylvia make you feel uncomfortable then just don't read them. Take Care.

I really think this guy just wants to see what kind of response he's going to get so if we just don't respond maybe he'll quit posting.

Skysilverman refered to sylvia as "this poor girl". He (or she) is probably right. Though, I hope she is happy and well, and far from being poor. In any event, if these posts make you feel uncomfortable and "out of sorts", then don't read them. And, Do you honestly think I need encouragement? Take care, and I do apreciate positive comments and replies. [email protected]

They both use the same email address in their posts, so I assume it's the same person.

Isn't this against TER rules, to use two or more of your own aliases within the same thread?

If so, I think the person gets banned for a period of time.

Not from what I can see of the rules. As long as it stays fairly friendly and doesn't take up excessive room on the board, then I see no rule against it.

Sorry about the use of two aliases. It was unintentional, and, I’m unfamiliar with the rules. I have eight aliases on TER, and I’m more than willing to provide them all to anyone who is interested either via e-mail; or, if it is within the rules, I could just post them in the forum. I really have nothing to hide. Please let me know, and thanks.  [email protected]

Not so much you but if you have something to say why not just say it?  Why hide?

deepbluesea12148 reads

Very good point. I surely don't want to hide, and I doubt you do either. As to why others choose to use aliases, who knows? Maybe they are hiding their activities and interests from wives, co-workers, LE, the IRS, the Feds, etc. Maybe they feel that participating in a form like this reveals a "dark side" of their personality? Maybe they are blatant, despicable, shameful cowards? Maybe they had an unhappy childhood and they are compensating for a poor or abusive relationship with one or more parents? Maybe they are famous, wealthy public figures who are afraid of exposure? Maybe it's tradition? Maybe they think it's just cool? I really don't have any answers, but I have a lot of stories. If you'd like to e-mail me I'll be happy to answer, or just continue to post. Thanks, [email protected]
