My take...

You will notice that most of my reviews have been in the UK.  I usually put in the number of pounds paid, and then in the general details that it is in British pounds.  I did this because of the fluctuations in exchange rates.  In the 2.5 years I've lived here, the same £200 has ranged from $350 - 400.  I figure this is more accurate.

I should know better, but I don't!!!

Are the amounts converted to US$ by submitter?
At whatever the conversion rate was?

Are amounts entered in the local currency?

I have not found a guide or standard.
And in scanning reviews there doesn't seem to be a standard.

Searching with a dollar limit or range ends up including a number of hits that obviously are outside the range.  Common sense easily eliminates any confusion, but it still makes me go hmm......

In which case, a reviewer should indicate that the amount is in Canadian Dollars, which is pretty close to American Dollars right now, but that could change.

As far as on the profile page, that will always have to be in US Dollars, so for that, yes, you would have to convert.

I would think the same holds true of any other countries' currencies.

where the encounter is to take place.  If you see an ad for a Canadian provider from Toronto but she in visiting in Vancouver BC then it will be Canadian dollars.

If she is visiting in Seattle it should be US dollars.

If you go to her website and see just dollars, then if she is in Canada it is Canadian.  If she will be in Chicago it should be USD.

The sane should apply for ladies from other countries.

This makes the most sense, but I have not seen the rule or suggestion listed anywhere.  And other reviews are not clear about which currency they listed the rate in.

Most folks for TJ reviews list the rate in US Dollars.

MAYBE THE CURRENCY SHOULD BE LISTED NEXT TO THE RATE.

Otherwise I can beat the two ladies already listed with 60min for $30,000 with a lady I saw for 500,000 an hour -- but thank-goodness not US Dollars!

Most of the more established providers seem to specifically quote the currency that dominates the area they are in. Of course, some are willing to use Global amounts like Gold- (*but this is usually the exception and not the norm*)

When in doubt a few options might include:
Contacting a reviewer who has recently spent time w/ her..... recheck the site she advertises on and review her profile & website. Last resort could always include a simple- "Your suggested gift donatioin is" .... When worded prooperly it shouldn't offend.    kisses ~T
