Well with many on this board in particular, they do talk about Craigslist and Backpage as if everyone on it are somewhere below dirt, which I find very amusing. Truth of the matter is, CL and BP are simply free ad sites which make them very popular, especially CL. That in turn does make them more of a LE target than some other ad sites, expecially since it is a free site it does attract some less than desirables. But those who come on here condemming CL fail to realize (or maybe just don't care) that they are blasting a huge portion of TER members as well. Many hobbyists do go there, many of the greatest TER ladies do advertise there and not a day goes by that new reviews are not posted on TER from CL ladies. Personally I think some of the CL haters on here should take a serious look at some of the things and 'warnings' they post, it can be rather extreme at times.

Of course this site, as well as ad sites other than CL, are very vulnerable to LE as well as rip-offs and lousy hobbyists. CL may get more attention from LE simply cause that is where the action is, but it certainly does not get all their attention. One should be careful whatever site you go on and devote more time to learning how to avoid trouble and how to go about finding a good provider, just my 2 cents.

LE is by its very nature, lazy.

They have a quota to fill when the Chief says bust some johns and prostitutes.

So, would you do the easy thing and put a free ad on CL, or go through the hassel of getting set up here with fake reviews, etc.?

It's the same theory as speeding.  If you're just going ten miles over the limit, you have nothing to worry about as long as there is so guy going eighty.

It is only the screening shy Craigslist shopper or LE that is frustrated or thwarted by the savvy advertiser.

If a provider has 5 or more reviews on TER the chance of them being an LE sting decoy is infinitesimal no matter where they are advertising.    

I agree with the others, and will add the major problem with CL is that former street walkers and pimps have now gone high tech, they all know the right words to say like GFE, but there is a good chance that the CL advertiser is a drug addict or workinng scams with a pimp who may rob you. You can look for reviews on CL or check here on TER.
Also I have seen CL ads say that she is TER reviewed and then found on TER that she got 7's and you can do better than that by searching here.

CL and backpage are popular because they're free. We ladies have to pay hundreds of dollars for our advertising, so a free ad is a nice thing. Lots of reputable providers have ads on these sites to boost traffic from their other sites. It doesn't mean you need to stay away.

When people generalize and say to stay away from these sites, it's because many of the ladies who advertise on there don't have reviews, aren't reputable, and are not quite the element you want to trust to come into your home for any reason. However, some are reputable and if they are, they get reviews that show it.

This board is just as vulnerable to LE activities, but if you stick with a reviewed lady who appears to have reviews from credible looking reviewers with a history of reviews, you should be fine.
