Hello Portland!

I am coming back up to your fine city for the Holiday Ale Festival December 4-7 and was hoping to meet some people while I am there.  I'll browse the reviews but thought I'd see what response I got here.  Feel free to PM me.

I just wanted to say enjoy yourself in my home town & I hope you find a terrific provider. I would offer you my services but I will be in Chicago that week. Have a super great time and hit lots of cool spots! ;-)

Scarlet Kimbal XOXO

This will be my third year attending and enjoying your city. Any reccomendations or suggestions?

L Guy:

Could you be more specific in what kind suggestions you're looking for, otherwise there could be some very looooooooonnggggg replies...

Featured brews at the Festival
Brew Pubs
Bars
Restaurants
Providers
Massage Practitioners
Hotels
etc.

Thanks! :

Sorry for the vague inquiry. Was kinda directed toward Scarlet's reply but I'm open to any "gotta do" things for Portland. I'm staying in city center right by pioneer square. Not bothering with a car. On past visits in addition to Ale Fest I've strolled to Clyde Common, Andina the various street food vendors, the Olympian, Voo Doo donuts, even Mary's. So there's a wide variety of things to choose from and more for any of you to reccomend I'm sure. Just looking for a locals take on it. Doesn't have to be a list just a top 3 or something.

How about 1) fine dining 2) bar/pub/dive 3) wild card suggestion.

For those reading perhaps toss out one for each category.

A few restaurants with cocktails... Cassidy's is good for late night eats as well.

Live music 5x/week and close in downtown, French Bistro...Brasserie Montmartre

Superb cocktail program with a pool table and televisions for football in the upstairs Rookery (Hayloft). Did I mention... Great Food!!!
