During his press conference, to clear up any doubt, Spurrier reiterated that he was "resigning", not "retiring".
The Old Ball Coach is hanging up his visor today. There will never be another one quite like him.
He might coach again...stay tuned.
Come to think of it, he did say it was a "resignation," and not a retirement. I can't see him getting a head coaching job again, but maybe someone will hire him as an offensive consultant.
