Became addicted to this hobby about a year or so ago. Have had some negative experiences, but majority have actually been great, I'm not sure what to do about a recent experience.

I was coming to town on a business trip and wanted to enjoy my time with a pretty lady. I found a well reviewed, very pretty young woman here on TER. Contacted her in advance to make arrangements, went through screening, scheduled our date. We communicated in the days leading up to my arrival. As she requested, I confirmed the day before. The day of, she contacts me to let me know something has come up. She apologizes profusely and pleads with me to reschedule for the following morning. I rearranged my work schedule in my last day in town to accommodate her. She seemed genuinely upset and I really wanted to end my trip on a high note. Again, she was well reviewed and appeared to be stunningly beautiful. The next day, about 60 minutes before our new scheduled time she contacts me to cancel. Apologizes again, says she hopes I can find a last minute provider and she would be happy to act as a reference if needed. I respond that I'm really disappointed and ask her if she ever comes to my neck of the woods. Haven't heard from her since.

So here's my question: could I and SHOULD I post a review about this experience just to warn others or see if she's done this before, OR do I give her the benefit of the doubt and just chalk it up to one of those things?

I'm curious to hear what others, especially other providers, think.

Sent you a pm as I don't want to post the name until I hear what others think.

It sounds like whatever this lady had come up in her schedule was most likely genuine. As much as we try to keep plans, sometimes life happens. This is just as disappointing for us as it is for you guys. If she's highly reviewed, I don't think she would jeopardize that reputation.
As far as her not getting back to you since this happened, it could be that whatever came up has turned into an ongoing problem or maybe she's embarrassed that she had to cancel like that. Just my two cents as a provider.
