on providers?
More specifically...I'm interested in how you viewed a provider to talk, act, smell, did you think they were dirty etc etc etc?

I ask because my own personal views were pretty distorted until I actually got into it.
I thought we all were sexual fiends, who had gents lined up at their doors, one right after another yadda yadda yadda, whom never got themselves checked out, and talked real slutty. I kept thinking of Saloon girls. LOL

I'm really glad I got to know a bunch of these ladies here, because my views on them were seriously corrected and I am SO grateful to many of them.

So What did you think of providers before actually meeting them?
Ladies...your input would be welcomed too!

My veiw on this whole thing was quite terrible before I became a provider lol . I had no idea of anything that really goes on but I had seen a SW that looked awful when I was pretty young so that kinda distorted my thoughts as well .   This is a great Q and I am sure you will get some pretty funny awnsers .

I've always enjoyed nonconventional people, be they artists, non-conformist, radicals or as they case is here.

From the very first time I heard there was such a thing as a woman would engage in sex for a fee, I've wanted to meet one; and I did as soon as the opportunity arose.

It sure beats hanging around with someone who just wants to talk about gardening and the price of rice.

the movie Pretty Woman came out.

I figured if the hot ladies looked like Julia Roberts and the "ugly" ones looked like Laura San Giacomo, that maybe this was something I should look into.

My views of providers were nowhere close to the truth.  I viewed them as a high-class equivalent of streetwalkers.  In other words, I believed that they secretly hated their jobs, treated clients with contempt, and were only in it for the money and/or glamour.  At least that's what the government tricked (no pun intended) me into believing.

So when I first starting researching providers here on TER, no wonder I was worried about them treating me badly during the session.  I was even more worried about them taking my money and just sitting there with their clothes on, because they weren't sexually attracted to me.  (Apparently, I took that "money only for time and companionship" thing way too literally, lol).

Luckily, the first provider I saw was nothing like that.  She delivered the service, made me feel comfortable, and even gave me a good pep talk.  I viewed providers in a much more realistic light since then.  Interestingly, one provider I saw did have a nasty attitude, but by then, I knew it was an isolated incident.

and most any negative preconceptions common in society were a direct product of society's own demonizing and criminalization of the profession.

I thought they would be cynical and openly contemptuous, like the worst of the TV streetwalkers. I never knew I would meet so many warm, likable women  willing to focus on our mutual enjoyment. If I had understood this sooner I would have started much younger.
