I have been researching escorting for the last month and have finally decided I am going to do it. I need the money bad and am beginning to think my life is boring with the plain old 9 to 5. My only suggestion would be to be very careful about who you see when you are starting out. Research the hell out of the information available to you here and make sure you screen your clients no matter how much you need the money. Safety first.

1) Don't give up your day job! I say this not as a impression of your photo, you do have lovely eyes! Successful providers come in all forms, and I know more than a few who could drop 15lbs.

Don't abandon regular income until you get established.
2) As for location, who says that prostitution only happens in the big cities?!? The hobby exists wherever there men and women coexist. Search the reviews for you local area code, and I suspect you will be surprised by the number of ladies, and where they operate.
3) TER has a New Jersey board. Look through it, and you will see places where ladies work in the Garden State.
4) Think this one through! The personal/moral implications of becoming a provider are real. How many people are there that you don't want to know about this. Are you prepared to live a double-life? Where to get started and all...Well the research is a great begining. I have concerns about a young lady entering this biz with OUT doing enough research. Screening is essential. You need to know how to do this properly and safely. Your safety is first and foremost top on the list. I have never worked for an agency, and it wasn't something I would want to do. Yet, it may be a way for you to start out on the right foot. They can help you with pictures and advertising, hotels and bookings. Do your screening for you. You need to remember it is expensive to maintain all...hotels, supplies, testing, its not as simple as it sounds. I have a kid about your age, maybe older than you and not meant as an insult but along with youth comes being a bit neive. That worrys me. You can start there, see if its for you, its not for everyone. They set you up and it is at little expense to you. I don't know about any NJ or NY agencys but hon you are beautiful they will jump at the chance to work with you. If you do this and feel you have gained enough $$flow and experience you can break out on your own and go Indie. If you decide it was Not for you you just walk away with lessons learned and you move on. Running your own business, it is time consuming costly and detailed. I don't know you so I hope you don't see this as an insult. I just worry, I know people, there are a lot of good and bad ones out there. This is a tricky business if you are not careful. While money is a great motivator, it is not a great motive. If you do it for the money and hate the job, it will come through, and you won't be able to command top $. At that point, it will be a lot less glamorous than you thought.

I would only like to add one observation. No matter how beautiful you are, there will be others more beautiful. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, so as one of the others so eloquently stated, be proud of the person you are.
The thing I have seen that seems to differentiate the most successful ladies from the crowd is one thing. They seem to have the ability to make every guy feel like he has a special connection with the lady. Success in this business is built around repeat visits. The more of these repeat clients you have, the more successful you will become.

One thing you might consider is working for a legitimate agency to begin with. While they will take a substantial cut of your fee, they will also handle screening and cover the costs of incall. This will give you an opportunity to learn a bit and decide if this is really what you want to do. After a bit of time, you can always go independent if that is what you want. You are a stunningly beautiful woman so I imagine most agencies would love to have you on staff if you are up for the job.

You're better off working in New York since you can make way more moeny there than in New Jersey and you don't want to be working near your home where someone might recongize you. Agencies might be a good place to start, but some don't really screen as well as you think so be selective of which agency you choose... maybe, you can pose this question in the New York board. There is this book written by a former Dallas escort...I wish I could remember the name (do you guys here remember?) where the escort pretty much lays out how to get started, how to deal with customers and every issue that an escort faces... If anyone remembers that books name, please mention it.. It was like a guide to escorting.
If there's any way you can pay your bills another way, you're probably better off not entering the business. I know that's not a popular opinion around here. But, there's a lot of issues that you will face entering the business...and if it's just paying your bills, well....I don't know, I just would hate to see a fresh-faced girl like you do something that she would regret just to pay the bills.
