I've never been a LeBron fan either, but...

I sure do respect his game and competitiveness on the basketball court, especially with what he has already accomplished.  He and Dellavadova show more heart and desire, I think, than the entire GS team right now.

Dellavadova cramping up reminds me of the 1989 French Open when 17 year old Michael Chang played against 29 year old three time French winner Ivan Lendl.  After losing the first two sets in the best of five set match, and more than four hours of play, Chang could barely move because of cramps and had to sometimes serve underhand because he could not go up on his toes.   Leading 2-1 and about to serve in the fifth and final set, Chang said that he almost went to the umpire to say he just couldn't go on anymore.  But he went on anyway, badly losing that serve.  The match was then all square, with the six foot two inch big boy serving for the lead.      Curry, and the entire GS team, need to watch what happened next...

In a sport that has no substitutions, no timeouts, only a rest period of 90 seconds after every two games, and no coaching whatsoever during the match, Chang's effort  is a testimony as to what the human body can endure and accomplish when your heart and will are strong.   The great Vince Lombardi said that best in what was to be his last public speech.  It was given in Dayton, Ohio 1970-great reading.

This is turning out to be a great series---it's just a matter of who wants it more.  And that's hard for us, as fans, to judge.  But I predict coach Kerr, as a great ex-player himself,  will put a fire under his players' asses and GS will win in seven.

as a Carolina Girl, don't you have any love for the Curry clan?   This is turning into a great series!

We also played against a Curry at Davidson
I usually go to all of this games
I like the Curry family but I like Kyrie Irving more and I like James
I actually wanted these two teams in the finals but I want Cleveland to win
Yes it is a great series

...GS was the hands down favorite to walk away with a title given the depleted Cavs roster, and their having the league MVP.  I couldn't be more delighted at how this has turned into an incredibly great series.  Kudos to LeBron (and I'm not a LeBron fan) and his supporting cast (what's left of them) for playing awesome defense to pretty much shut down GS.  Dellavadova gets my vote for series MVP for the way he has made Curry work like never before to get his.  GS coming back in games 2 and 3 in the fourth has more to do with the Cavs dragging their tongues by that point in the game than it does with GS finally finding their rhythm.  I'm not counting GS down for the count yet, and hope this goes seven and down to the final buzzer.

Dear Sexy Carolina :
But the new underlying question is how do you like Delly on your telly?

Thanks for the compliment SC, but I lay claim to no journalistic experience, unless editing the high school yearbook way back when counts.  Maybe I'll be in your neck of the woods one day and we could try our hand at a little play by play.

After busting ass in games two and three, LeBron and his crew had about enough left in the tank to work hard for the first 3 or 4 minutes of the first quarter in game 4.  Then it was walk the ball up the court, no movement on the offensive end, an unbelievable amount of shots that fell short (always an indicator of fatigue), and an inevitable outcome.  Fingers crossed that three days of rest before game five results in a more competitive performance.

Andre Iguodala replacing Andrew  Bogut ,  coming in on fire in game five , gave a different dimension to Golden State while  confusing the Cavaliers.
The odds on favorite Golden State hasn't dominated the Cavaliers{ except last night}
With luck we will see seven games before a winner is determined.
Hopefully  Cavaliers will drink ample  water if that's going to happen .

Just curious if anyone agrees with me on this.  I cannot for the life of me understand why ABC/ESPN would hand a microphone to that knucklehead Jeff Van Gundy to do game analysis.  And not just in the NBA finals, but ever!  He is IMO the worst since that other famous knucklehead analyst Bill Walton made watching the NBA painful.

I agree, Liq-The poster boy for bs comments and bad analysis-lamer than a broke dick dog with 3 legs-I like Mike Breem, though-Van Gundy makes Walton look like Howard Cosell-   8-)  have a great week......
