Firstly, the tournament starts tomorrow, so we're not really going to have a great deal of time for people to make picks. We could make an alternative competition after the group stages perhaps though.

Secondly, have you seen how many competitions we have running right now? Champions League final, Stanley Cup, NBA finals, weekly baseball... It's a lot! We also considered doing something for the French Open, and I also considered the Monaco Grand Prix - at a certain point it's too much. The competitions are overtaking the board currently, just due to the abundance of major events all happening at the same time.

Thirdly, interest. I'm surprised so many people have entered the Champions League competition (honestly I made it out of my own curiosity to see how it would be received), and I certainly wouldn't rule it out if there was a large amount of interest shown in making a competition for this, but I can't imagine there are that many people who would be willing to participate. Please, feel free to prove me wrong however - I am certainly open to the possibility.
