I would love to take part in something like this, and although not on the same scale, I have done some similar things in the past - I played in a 12 hour slowpitch softball game for charity one time. I managed to pull my hamstring IN THE FIRST INNING while fielding at short. That's what happens when you start playing at 8 in the morning, fresh out of bed and without stretching. It was so much fun though, I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat.

In my (much) younger days, I also did a darts marathon with a friend of mine. Instead of playing from the usual 501 and working our way down to zero, we started on 100,001. It took us close to eight hours, and by far and away the worst part of the whole thing was trying to get home afterwards - at the time I lived at the top of a comically steep hill, and putting all my (excessive) weight on only one fully locked knee for hours at a time made that walk agony. That one I'd maybe rethink before doing again!

Anyone else ever done anything like this? I've long wanted to bowl 100 consecutive games, more just to see if I could rather than anything else. A friend of mind in Spain would play in 48 hour indoor soccer tournaments - basically the competition never stops, so your first match might be at 3pm and then your second at 4am. Everyone just gets together and has barbecues outside and sets up tents and whatever to get some rest and/or relaxation when time permits. I've played in softball tournaments where we literally camped on the diamonds when the day's play was over. I miss those days.
