In regards to the frequently posed term,

discreet, "high-class" gentleman, with or without the preceding "discreet", is "high-class" generally referring to:

"very classy", as in sharply dressed,

a "class act" as one with distinguished principles,

or "high-end", in relative to one with rather a distinguished bank book?

I would guess it all depends on WHO is requiring it really.
I prefer to say something more on the lines of  Unhurried Unrushed Passionate Gentlemen
Or

I Enjoy the company of a Sincere Passionate Well groomed Gentleman
I find Intellect and a Great sense of homor very attractive.
But all in all I'd guess it means really..you be nice to me clean sweet and respectful and I will do the same.

I usually take that remark about as seriously as the same women who claim to be 'sophisticated' LMAO!

Seriously, I think that statement is usually made by those who are tired of: ghetto punks, construction workers who just got off work, trailer trash, etc., who show up with a 6-pack under their arm and a joint hanging out their mouth, ready to party!  And you know when they leave - they will not write a review, just post their name and number on the bathroom wall of the local pub down the street.  I assume 'high-class' is supposed to eliminate that crowd.

maybe for some but it doesnt really work that way. I see mostly really sweet Gentlemen, and unless you are in that loser catagory, how would you know. You are the client not the lady seeing them. So your opinion is about as well informed as a blind man trying to explain what the color red looks like.

Well thank you! I just love your sense of reasoning. LMAO!

I just see that you only know what your experience is like and the horror stories that we all have heard of. Only if you were in this position could you know who we see or what they are like.
The way you write and design your website is advertising and there are ways to attract who you want to by the way you set it up and how you word what you are trying to say.
Pictures are great but I have to tell you, I get more Gentlemen who tell me it was my wording that brought them to me.
So thats all I have to say.

I recently had a fabulous experience with a lady and I was at first attracted to her intellect and wit through her postings on some of the TER boards. It was after reading her posts that I went to her website which was tastefully done and provided additional confirmation for me of the type of person I thought she was. I was happy to find she was local to me. The rest as they say, is history...

My .02....

But in all truth and honesty you have know idea what my experience is or what position I am in.
Everyone has a right to there own opinion, just because it does not agree with yours does not mean that it is worthless. From where you sit you stated what you think, fine we all respect your right to speak your mind.  And I stated the way I look at the subject, could have posted it underneath you saying how ignorant you are, but that would make me as childish as you.LOL  We all come from different walks of life, different parts of the country, and live under different circumstances. What all my involvement with the hobby is besides just hobbying you have no idea, nor is it any of your business, and the same works both ways which is why I respect and read your opinion.

I am certainly not saying you should agree with anything that anyone has to say, but you should respect that person's right to say it. To come out and say someones opinion is like a blind man trying to explain color is both ignorant and childish.

Somehow, I missed you joining our friendly board.  I know it is late, but let me say that the participation, help and advice of well reviewed gals is always appreciated!!!

so sweet of you...and thank you again for the welcome mat..lol...xoxox Nicole

I show up in tails and silk hat wearing a monocle.

Now if that ain't high class, I give up.

Ocassionally I get mistaken for Mr. Peanut though.

Another fun ubiquitous term without meaning is "upscale".  Is there anyone out there marketing themselves to a "downscale" demographic?

But I am sure that many are referring to "businessmen/executives or business owners" who are intelligent, well groomed, etc.  I am sure some also are referring to the bank account.

lol

But, I would guess that most of these ladies are referring to "professional gentlemen."

That infamous little, multi-answer response, came to mind just as I hit "post", and at the same time, so did a doctor of medicine, who's only willing to provide aid for hypochondriacs.
