Only was able to watch bits and pieces of Game One vs. Lightning in DC today while having lunch with friends Priya and Kiki after last night's festivities, so forgive me for putting lady friends ahead of sports. But I was able to catch the encore on NHL Network once I returned home, so now piece nine of sixteen goes up towards the ultimate goal. Let's go Rangers!

Thank God they only played 5 in the first round. This one will take some steam out of them just as TB is starting to find it's game. East Final should be good but the West Final is gonna be ridiculously good.
And Game 7 was a fitting conclusion to this fantastic series. I do feel for the Caps, especially due the franchise history in this type of scenario, but the Rangers deserved this victory. Just a shame that someone had to lose.
