yeah, have to pick the teams all the way to final just like the bracket on NHL.com. they are giving away nice prizes even though I just got a new TV around Super Bowl.
Hi everybody!
It has been brought to our attention that the NHL playoffs begin tonight (apologies for the oversight, but we have a dearth of hockey fans in the office!), and well, frankly, we need to have a friendly competition - so here it is! We're giving you until NOON EASTERN ON SUNDAY to pick the full playoff bracket for a grand prize of 20 free VIP days. Don't worry if your bracket falls apart early though; we'll be offering chances to win during each round also, but more on that when the time comes. We picked Sunday so that everyone has time to get their picks in without any series having the chance to get particularly deep - sure a team might go 2-0, but then there's a chance that with the change of city that that gets turned around.
You can find the bracket here http://bracketchallenge.nhl.com/?locale=en&intcmpid=bc2015-picks-300x250-int#/picks . If you wouldn't mind, please give your picks in the following format, just for the sake of us handing out days when the competition is finished:
1) Minnesota wins
2) Nashville wins, etc.
The bracket is as follows:
Round 1:
1) St Louis vs Minnesota
2) Nashville vs Chicago
3) Anaheim vs Winnipeg
4) Vancouver vs Calgary
5) Montreal vs Ottawa
6) Tampa Bay vs Detroit
7) Rangers vs Pittsburgh
8) Washington vs Islanders
Round 2:
9) Your pick for 1 vs your pick for 2
10) 3 vs 4
11) 5 vs 6
12) 7 vs 8
Round 3 (Conference Finals):
13) 9 vs 10
14) 11 vs 12
Finals:
15) 13 vs 14
Good luck everybody, and again a reminder that we will have more to come as the playoffs progress!
