Hi everybody!

Baseball season is upon us, and that means it's time to earn some VIP days! The way we're going to do baseball in the regular season is take whatever game ESPN is showing on Sunday night, and then whoever picks the winner before NOON ON SUNDAY gets 2 VIP days! Simple enough?

Your game this week is the Red Sox at the Yankees, with the currently expected pitching matchup being Joe Kelly for the Bosox and Masahiro Tanaka for the Yankees. Make your picks now!

(Also I'm a long suffering Mets fan, so if you could all be super nice on the off chance that ESPN decides to show a game nationally, that'd be great - nothing to celebrate since Johan's no hitter a couple of years ago, and before that, well...)

Sox win, they got a wicked good line up

2015 = 28

I hate the Yankees, my free bet says Boston will win.

    If I find out the  Yankees have  same refs as Duke  in the  Wisconsin game, can I change my bet?   :-D

   I'm smiling because I don't have any College basketball teams I love, only a few teams I hate, so
  cheating referees for Duke didn't hurt me.

  On the bright side, Notre Dame and Va  lost early enough.   :-D

ed Sox win

  So Johan has been out of baseball since he got that no hitter because all the Mets cared about was the no hitter so he pitched like 120 pitches and his arm to the ground.

Absolutely. Given that the Mets would have had nothing to celebrate for the last few years at all had that not happened though, I've always had trouble reconciling my feelings on it. It's not like a healthy Johan would have got the Mets a first World Series since 86 (too many other problems, bullpen being the one constant one but they still haven't replaced Jose Reyes effectively, and RA Dickey leaving after winning the Cy Young didn't help), but I'm not sure a no hitter was worth ruining him.
