In my experience, as soon as my first review was posted, the amount of the calls I'm getting - doubled.  Also, everytime I have new reviews, it put me back to the top search.

Even if I get one bad review (I hope I never will), I don't think it'll hurt me because so far 100% of my reviews are nothing but good.

I now average getting between 50 - 100 calls/text a day where I no longer pick up my calls anymore unless I'm expecting your call so I deal everything thru email.

What's the power of a good review or bad review to a provider's business in terms of influx of business? How many calls does a good review generate or vice versa with a bad review? Does it really make that much of a difference?  Or do guys just respond to good ads.  I notice quite a fuss is made over reviews sometimes, but do good or bad reviews really matter that much?  If they do generate calls or vice versa, how much of a volume are we talking about (10? 20?, etc)

The actual review is secondary to the simple fact that reviews verify a lady as being for real. There are plenty of guys out there who see escorts and don't even know that TER exists so it's certainly not the only factor.
When I see an ad on Eros or Cityvibe the first thing  I do is cross reference the lady to TER and look for reviews. If I don't see any she goes to the bottom of my "to do" list.

that was the absolute truth and have her e-mails to substantiate the "lies" and false promises.  Anyway, after I wrote it she e-mailed me with another (2nd) scathing letter saying I destroyed her business of 10 years???  I took a flyer on this girl to begin with.  She's on RS2K but no prior reviews.  Interesting, she claims 10 years in the bus. and NO reviews???  MY BAD.
Little head spoke for Big head, stick with multi reviewed women!

A single review is of limited infleunce.  This activity brings together 2 unique individuals, bodies, minds.  YMMV "Your Mileage May Vary" is very true.  Bods may or not fit well, minds may or not fit well, chemistry may or not be there...   Since it takes 2 to Tango, I don't believe that it is fair to mark down a provider who goes all out, tries her hardest but something does not click, & the experience is less than I hoped.  I try to be very fair & give the benifit of the doubt.

You are verifying that this is an honest provider, not a rip off or up sell or under provider.

Since YMMV, I don't give full credulance to an occasional high or low mark...  but I look for consistancy.  If several reviews are in the same range, you know what to expect.

I've been curious about this myself. I know that usually  after I write a favorable review I get a PM or two requesting further details. So there are clearly people paying attention. But how much difference does it make? Does it mean one new inquiry for a provider? or five?

My guess is that the answer depends on the number of reviews a provider already has. If she has pages and pages, then one new review isn't going to make much difference, but if she has six or seven reviews in total, it might.

I don't know if you've seen this, but I think that it speaks volumes about how this site impacts the marketplace in a very positive way.  Beyond the increase in business, the converse as far as the impact on the safety and enjoyment of the hobbyists cannot be stated strongly enough.  I've been doing this for a quarter-century, but I won't be doing it without TER ever again.

BTW, it also says something about Staff that he should be very proud of.

I absolutely see an increase in the number of emails I receive when I have a new review posted. In fact, I can tell I've received a new review before I even see it because I receive so many more emails that day. I would estimate the number to be 10+ the first day, and then more over the next several days.

TER is by far the number one advertising method for me. The majority of the hits to my website are from here- either my reviews or my posts.

to interact on the boards.  I have gotten to know several ladies here on the boards and through PM's only to spend some quality time with them at a later date.  Every single one of these encounters has been very good or better.

Many hobbyists I know, myself included, tend to shy away from ladies who are always on the discussion boards for various reasons.

What sparked my curiosity on the subject was spedning time with some providers, they seem to like talking about the subject.  A lot of them request that you write a reivew.
One seemed genuinely upset over a bad review and was worried.  I told her not to worry, that it was only one review as she has tons and tons.  But, of course, I have no idea if it's true that it's no big deal as she would know since she can see the number of calls or emails she gets.
Of course, I phrased it as a power of a review...but what happens if its several reviews?

Anyone can get a bad review every now and then for a number of reasons such as no chemistry with the guy or just not feeling well. But when several show up, there is probably a problem and not many are going to chance being the next unhappy customer.

BTW: I saw you got Amber for your 50th review. Congrats! Great choice. :)

Thanks.  I will be back again.  AAA (Awesome Amber Ashley) is a lot of fun to be with as well as highly talented.
