LE only ask few things - sex and money.

IE - For John's - What can I do for you for this amount of money?  Do you want FS?

  - For Providers - What services do you provide and how much?

They do record this conversation over the phone and once you get to the room and pay - it's over.

Sometimes they don't even have to wait for the money as long as you mention both things on the phone, that's all they need.

So never discuss this!

New to the hobby.  How do you know you're not being set up by LE?

Yeah I want to know too. I'm a newbie

The name of the game is moving the odds to your favor.

The single most effective way of avoiding LE is to choose only well reviewed gals from this or other reputable boards.

All that said, it's still a bit of a risk, but the odds favor you greatly.

I have seen nearly two hundred gals over 35+ years and never met up with LE.  But who knows about the future.

Mostly you can relax if you follow safe practices like staying away from Craig's List and avoiding gals who don't bother to screen you.

Other things to watch out for is the presence of a lot of unmarked Crown Vics in the neighborhood or any odd occurences like someone other than the gal you set up the appointment with answering her phone or coming to the door when you arrive at the date.  They could all be signs of a police sting and you should just say "Oop, wrong house, and turn and walk away."

here in ORD many of the indy ladies have someone answer the phone both guy or girl to set-up appts, gather info etc.  That part wouldn't bother me as most of the REVIEWS REVIEWS REVIEWS will clue you into that so you know what to expect when someone other than "she" answers.
Good Luck.

Exactly- there are a few really great phone gals around, so that by itself isn't a problem.  Just make sure the right girl answers the door

mrfisher, I am a newbie and have not even proceeded to meet with a provider yet. I am still contemplating this whole experience. I notice that you mention staying away from Craigs List. Is this a bad site? Why? Which would you recommend?

only seeing well reviewed ladies (3-4 or more reviews from established reviewers (also with the same minimum number of reviews over time).  Get VIP so you can read the reviews and not just the profiles.  Keep in mind, there are no guarantees in life.  Just do what you can to make your odds better.

On a separate note, for both providers and hobbyists, simply asking if the person is LE will not protect you.  Often times a provider asks me if I'm LE and I always tell her (once we meet, of course) that LE can and will lie.  Otherwise they could never bust anyone.

So, the whole notion that if you ask if a person is LE because they have to tell the truth is a myth.

You never know for sure! As other have said, the best way to decrease your odds is to stay with well-reviewed ladies. Other than that, a huge red flag should go off in your head anytime a lady tries to get you to verbally validate that you expect to recieve sex in exchange for money.

LE would never just let you make an appointment w/o some dsicussion (taped by them of course)of money and specific acts.

Otherwise, if you just show up you could just walk out and they would have no proof of criminal intent. Again, mere presence at the scene of any alleged crime is insufficent in all 50 states to sustain a conviction. So, anytime anyone starts talking about sex & money, just say goodbuy, its LE.

No provider would ever mention such matters over the phone, becasue they have a specific interest in protecting themselves.
