I actually have a printed out copy of it....it costs about 20cents or so per page but I have most of it....its really not as big of a deal. So many people freaked out and then it came out and the only thing that happened was some wives found out. No one lost their business, no ones name was on the front page of the paper you had to actually sit there in a small little office that was hot as shit and sift thru paper after paper and it was really like chekcing code....after awhile the names all ran togeather....Also not all names were MD residents , let alone Frederick residents....they didnt really get what they wanted.

Steffie is a personal friend of mind and although they attempted to crucify her she still was able to keep alot away from people thank you to our officals....So no worries.....Just not a good idea to try such a big ring again here in these parts.......

The infamous Frederick (Md.) black book is now available for public viewing -that's 8000 plus names of guys who were clients of a rather prominent agency that serviced the Washington DC area. The fallout is only just about to start.
This agency was very well known and I expect several prominent officials, government folks and media folks may be among the clients listed.

Thought it was worth raising this on the legal board to open a discussion of what both providers and guys should do -and more important -what they really do.
.
Link below.
For what its worth -don't EVER believe that people don't keep records. For some, their worst nightmare has just come true.

First consider the cost of the investigation itself.  Not just tax dollars (this was a fairly long investigation), but how many real crimes could have been prevented or how many solved if they hadn't been chasing a madam whose business likely never hurt a single person.

More to your point is what it will cost many people.  Alot of folks on that list probably have (or now had) good marriages and just had a midlife romp.  How many families will be broken up because of this?  The social cost of their releasing this information will be significant.

Hopefully this will once again remind everyone how important it is not to keep emails and other information and why we all need to protect our identities.  This also once again drives home how important it is for all ladies to be good stewards of the reference system since that is likely the best way for them to screen new clients while protecting clients personal info.

JTH

PS, I haven't read anywhere that mentioned 8,000 names, but 8,500 pages of emails or an '82 page client list'.  The number of names could very easily be anywhere from 1,000 to 20,000.

Whether the Mayor has screened that list for any of her relatives.  Could end up being egg in the face.  The whole affair seems to be a waste of time and money for something that is of little or no intrinsic value, except in the case where there is a wife, of a wealthy man, who just hit a jackpot.

that providers who say they don't keep records do. I never have nor will I ever keep records. I feel it is for both of our protection and privacy. The thought of keeping records never even crossed my mind.

rick,

don't you travel to d.c. frequently (per your reviews)??  is your nom de guerre on the list?

No mass release of names yet.  BUt owners caught
for moneyllaundry, so that's FEDS and they have
threatened to pick up "hundreds of hobbyists"
primarily due to credit card receipts.
