Hello everyone - Newbi here from Kern County and I really want to get a handle on doing this the right way. I have learned a lot from previous posts and I appreciate having a site like this to turn to! There are questions that I have that I have not found answers to and I hope this is the place to post them.

1. Cell Phones

I don't have a problem calling the provider with my unblocked cell phone in and of itself - my problem comes from the fear that the provider will call me back later and my wife will answer my phone! :(

Do providers call numbers without advance warning to clients or toss the numbers and names of the hobbiests once the services are rendered?

2. White List

I have asked a provider to post a review for me if she likes my company and she, dispite the fact that she is well reviewed herself, will not do this for me. Should I move on to one who will to give me my first review so I can have some history for other providers to check?

Thank you for any and all responses - I really want to do this right with no problems.

Welcome aboard, and I hope everything goes well for you.

Cell Phone:  When you contact her, whether directly or by message, make sure to tell her the hours she can safely call your cell phone.  If you don't, she may assume (although she definitely shouldn't) that she can call anytime.  If she is well reviewed, she will most likely respect your wishes.  If in doubt, turn off your phone when your wife can answer it.

White List:  It's not a review, it's just a recommendation stating that she considers you safe.  It's like having a reference without any details unless the next provider contacts her to ask when screening you.  Some providers do not like to participate, nor do they want to be indiscriminately contacted by the next providers for references.  Usually, they will give you a reference, but they want you to ask them before hand.  If they Whitelist you, they don't have that control.

Sooner or later, you will find someone to Whitelist you if you earn it and they participate in it.

Good Luck

Thank all of you for your responses. I will take the advice on the disposable phone. Turn it on when needed. Hide it otherwise.

Also thanks for clearing up the confusion on the white list issue. I will submit for VIP this week via mail and money order as I can see this is important. I did not even know i had a review - no provider has mentioned it.

I have been asked for references and I don't give the names of the providers I have seen as referrals - as I assume they value privacy as much as I do. I always thought that a lady would simply check TER.

Why don't hobbiests have reviews that only well established providers could see? Wouldn't a provider like to know if she was gonna be seeing a upscale gentlemen or a greasy jerk? Friendly or abusive? That way hobbiests could have the same security safeguards providers have - a dual screening process if you will? That way we dont need to know your name, and no one would need to know ours. Just a thought.

Thanks again for all of the replies - I will take the suggestions and run with them.

For married guys, I would suggest that you get a disposable cell phone and keep its very existence quiet from the meme sahib.

These can be picked up at most discount stores and loaded up with minutes as needed.

Second on using a disposable phone.

Also, if you're tricky, you could use something like Grand Central to pre-screen calls or to "shut out" unknown numbers during certain hours.

pm

I use a Virgin Mobile phone for my recreational interests.  I add $20 in minutes every 3 months and have never run out of minutes.  No paper trail whatsoever.

This phone does not come home with me.  PERIOD.

Good suggestions above.  I have never even thought of a "white list" review.  Never had one.  Never needed one.  Just treat everyone by the 'golden rule' and you'll develop a good reputation by which the ladies will be happy to give you a recommendation when asked.
