Some defensive linemen spray pam on their jerseys and there are many more things that are used in order to get a small edge over their opponents. At the end of the day using pam, stickum, or deflated footballs is not going to produce a dramatic advantage that would effect the overall game. In other words using stickum is not going to turn an average wide receiver to an all pro wide out.

For all the talk about Patriots cheating and records/championships being tainted has anyone seen the very quiet news about Jerry Rice admitting he used illegal stickum on his gloves?

he was calling out the Patroits for cheating.

Looks like too much of the league believes, "If your not cheating you are not competing!"

The gloves that receivers are allowed to use today have better grip that stickum ever did, even in the rain.  This is a non story.

If it is against the rules it is against the rules, ie cheating.  It does matter.
