From reading more about the story looks like he was not caught in a sting, but police were called to a disturbance. Guests reported 2 women in the hallway one looked injured and the other yelling for help. Looks like he assaulted 2 escort

Anthony was suspended for a year by CBS, while Sapp was fired by the NFL Network. Wonder how long it'll be before Sapp is hired by ESPN.

4.69 forty-I also found him very funny on TV and entertaining as a commentator. However, as a human being, IMHO, he's a POS. I'm from Tampa where Sapp spent most of his Hall of Fame career. There are too many stories to discount about Sapp being a jerk away from the football field. Examples are abusing wait staff at restaurants and not leaving tips after large bills, being mean to and refusing autograph or picture seekers, and threatening and intimidating a man at Buc Place-the training facility-who won the right to be there in a contest. He has 2 outside children and had to be forced to court for them and his ex for support issues. He has a history of domestic violence issues with the charges once being dropped. He also purportedly assaulted at least one of the escorts in this latest episode. Further, despite earning 10's of millions on the field, he blew it all and declared bankruptcy. He is certainly a different person than the one seen on TV. What goes around comes around and Sapp in my view got what's coming to him. Have a great weekend, all.
