For the first time, somebody asked me this the other day. The question was sincere and from a friend who did not disapprove or object to the activity. She was simply quite curious why I would choose to do this. I, of course, have my reasons, and I gave her those reasons as best I could. But I found it harder to put my reasons into words than I thought it would be. Now I think it's pretty obvious why the married folk pay for sex, but I would like to know why other unmarried hobbyists pay for sex. I'll share my reasons after I hear what others have to say - in case your reasons are better than mine!
I personally only pay for time and companionship. I think paying for sex is illegal in most places. Sometimes I have hit it off so well with people that we have had sex. As far as paying for companionship. I am single also. It is a great way for me to learn how to interact with people who I would normally not meet and if they find me irresitable so much the better.

6. Dating doesn't mean you'll get "dessert"

8. You can spend big bucks on a girl and not get past the cop-a-feel stage.

As said I would never do something illegal but I would pay for time. Then to answer your question why do single guys do it? I don't know why others do but I do
1. I get meet all different types of women I usually may not have the chance to to.
2. I get to be with someone I find attractive for whatever reason.
3. I can be with a hot chick I may not otherwise have a chance with.
4. I can relieve stress by talking to someone who is there and cares about making me happy.
5. I have a weird career that keeps me from meeting a lot of women
6. And sometimes I'm just horny and want to be with someone who is looking for the same thing.
But that's just my opinion, I may be wrong.
Simply put when single women wants a one nighter with no strings they go to a singles bar. Unless your a strapping young lad, when a single guy wants a one nighter with no strings they pay for it, "one way or another" as I've said quite a bit lately. Its a simple rule of nature. Just watch any male bird courting its potential mate, it offers gifts as a tempting reward.
I can't believe you are asking that question. One way or the other we all pay for sex, it has different disguises and names, and its been going on for the past 6,000 years. The question should be: why do we hobby? The answers will be as varied as there are hobbyists, and it is much more appropriate.

I'm with Brandy on this one. It also eliminates a huge hassle for those of us (like me, for sure) who are incapable of maintaining a reasonable bullshit free relationship with one steady lady. It beats doing without pussy anytime. As we all know, regular ladies in our lives can and will withhold that gold plated pussy when we fail to keep them happy.
Because of my past experiences, I always find I can implicitly trust a lady who sells her sex much more than one who is not in the "game." Ladies who are in the "game" are usually up front and honest about the price of the pleasure they can offer for the bargain in trade. This, I respect.

Another good reason to pay for sex is it is safer that way. Providers don't often file sexual harassment charges on clients. Or accuse us of "date rape" Or just drag us through all 7 levels of hell before giving us what we want.

Contrary to popular opinion (although not on this board lol) the sex is sometimes secondary to the need of having someones full attention. You have a beautiful womans ear as well as the rest of her body. An escort provides such a valuable resource for men who need to recharge and feel pampered. It also has been statisticly recorded that most men who "hobby" keep their sex life at home alive and exciting (excluding those with a sex addiction ). Thank you Melissa. I have often been unable to put an answer to that question into words. Based on your response you obviously know men. At least in my case, what you said is what I usually feel. Although I am one of your statistics and am lucky enough to have a happy and healthy sex life at home, I do also really enjoy the special attention and pampering I often receive while "Hobbying".
I would also like to add that hobbying in AZ is as good as it gets. I have traveled around the country and have found very few cities with the likes of beautiful, sensual and caring women like Debbie, Lisa, Sky and many others.
