I would very much reccomend joining datecheck or RS2k.  Even on the off chance one of the providers remembers you, many ladies won't accept references more than six months old.

Also, if a gent contacted me after 4 years and I actualy did remember him, I wouldn't provide a ref for him. Too much time has passed.

Good luck to you!

After a four year absence I have decided to get back into the Hobby (is it still called that?), as a client just to be clear, on a very limited basis. I have a few areas I could use some help with from the kind "veterans" of the Board....
1. How would you recommend I re-establish my references? I see that a few of the ladies I have seen in the past are still active, but it has been 4 years, or more, since I last saw them. Should I reach out to them and see if they remember me?
2. Would going the RS2k or date-check route be smarter?
3. I was a member of the Board in the past, different handle I cannot remember for the life of me, but never participated actively. Never wrote a review or posted as my life dictated a different level of discretion then as opposed to now. I look forward to actively participating now on the Board. How long should I stay on the Newbie Board before venturing to the other ones? Any milestones, reviews, etc, you can suggest?

I sincerely enjoyed my previous experiences in this unique world and feel that I was a good, honest client. Any feedback or advice is truly appreciated.

That should be easier to get cleared, and then afterwards, you have a fresh provider reference for seeing someone new.

And definitely write reviews this time around to help out your fellow hobbyists.

While I am not a veteran, I am not a newbie anymore either. My milestone for no longer being a newbie was the first time I was not nervous for the entire session. This turned out to be my 4th appointment (all different providers).

I recommend p411, or other verification services, as a great way to start building references. It worked out really well for me, and continues to help by providing hassle-free verification for anyone new I plan to visit with.

We will all appreciate your contributions! I challenge you to write your reviews well (too many are boring to read or just plain brief IMHO). Of course I cant expect everyone to enjoy writing reviews as much as I do!

Welcome back dude.  Yes, you could use Preferred411, RS2000, or date-check to establish a reference.  Other option of course is to be willing to give personal info the lady requests.
