Providers ask for references--I completely understand, but what if it is your first time--no references?

1) Try joining a verification service such as RS2K or Datecheck or P411.

2) Send an email to a prospective provider with the truth, you are new, you would like to see her, and be sure to include any information she is asking for on her website. Most providers have some sort of form to fill out on their website.

3) Everyone is new and everyone goes through this, many providers understand and will work with you. Keep in mind that they are trying to keep themselves safe (and thus all their clients safe also). A well reviewed provider is not one who will be indiscriminate about your personal information.

4) If at first you don't succeed, try again with someone else.
