I remember when he was teamed with Rich Eisen on Sports Center. I thought they were the best duo on the network. His persona and energy will be missed.

I hope we can find cure for this deadly disease one day.. Only 49..WTF...

When I saw him at the Espy's I had a feeling the end was near.  He was very frail and looked like skin and bones.  That being said, he gave one of the best speeches I have ever seen.

Amazing sportscaster and even more amazing person.  He changed the game!!!!

Although I did not watch the ESPY's, I have seen replays of Stuart's speech multiple times since his passing, and I concur, that this was a very powerful speech and moving speech.

He was very brave and innovative, both in front of the camera, as well as away from the spotlight.

RIP Stuart, and may we always be thankful for the cool side of the pillow.
