Wait til the bowl season is over before you write such a post. While the conference didn't perform as well as they would have liked, the SEC set a record this year with 7 bowl games won by one Conference. Quite frankly, since this is the first year since 2005 that a SEC team has not played for the National Championship, it's obviously a fluke. But, teams like Ohio State have figured out, due to Urban being at Florida for a while, that it's all about speed, speed and more speed. Big 10 "plow-boy" football doesn't cut it anymore

Great day of football on today and here are my picks...

Oregon beats the dog poopie out of FSU - 35-21

and

Alabama beats Ohio 28-14

And then it's all down hill from there... I'd be caught in the middle because my dad's team is ROLL TIDE and my son's team is the DUCKS lmao what's a girl to do!!!

Have a great day everyone.

Tara xoxo

Well, you got one pick right.

And can we now agree the SEC is not the dominant conference?  SEC West was 2-5 and I think SEC was like 4-5 over all.
The Big 12's best all lost save for TCU...who probably should have played Oregon today.  They need to add 2 teams like Boise St. and BYU or some such and make sure they have a conference title game next year.
The Big 10, who was not favored in any of thier 10 post season games, is currently 5-4 with one more game tomorrow (Iowa).

I'll have to check up on the PAC 12 and ACC....not recalling their records at this point...

Hi, HCM,  You're absolutely right-I'm a Bama Guy, but was really worried that they could win the Championship with a less than elite QB, who seems to toss it to the other team when the going gets tough-Futher, Bama's pass defense is less than stellar-Both weaknesses were exposed by the Buckeyes last evening, and they deserved the win-The OSU QB was really good-Happy New Year to you-1rob.....tossing on ashes and sackcloth....out     8-)
