I take exception to your remark "I hear that in MN (especially the Minneapolis area), the guys have a racket going. Basically, they coerce new ladies to give them a substantial discount for a favorable review. If you don't give him one, he will write a negative review."

I am in MN and I have not heard of this, nor have I seen it on the MN board. Granted I haven't been around nearly as much as most, but personally I would publicly villify anyone who was practicing this sort of thing.

Brand new and just starting in Minnesota...posted a message on MN Regional board and was told this is the place to be.  I am thinking of a new name and finishing up my website...looking to provide FS including oral...trying to get a feel for rates/time/screening, etc.  any help very much appreciated.  Thank you for taking your time - I am posting a pic tomorrow as well.  Thanks again!

Search for other providers in your area, and you should get an idea of the going rate. Rates are a function of attractiveness and performance. Compare yourself accordingly (although rate yourself "average" for performance until you know otherwise). Also being in a big city can get you higher rates vs. a rural area.

If you are a really hot new lady, you might be able to get a slight premium for being new. Otherwise, you may need a slight discount to attract guys.

I hear that in MN (especially the Minneapolis area), the guys have a racket going. Basically, they coerce new ladies to give them a substantial discount for a favorable review. If you don't give him one, he will write a negative review.

Learn to screen really well. Start by accepting only referrals from other local ladies that you can verify (part of your search of rates). Not only do you want to know that he is not LE, but you also want to know that he is an OK guy.

Also, sign up with www.preferred411.com as soon as you can. With a referral service, you want guys who are not new, and have lots of good referrals.

If you can't get comfortable with a guy, you can offer to meet him for drinks (either for free, or for a small donation). Don't discuss money or sex at that meeting.

Good hunting!

TER welcome wagon should be sending you a welcome and list of ways to take advantage of the system.  I wouldn't know the exact procedure/policy on when they respond but other prior "newbies" announcing their initiation  were welcomed. See earlier posts.  Good luck and lucking forward to the pics.  Don't forget about Chicago in the future.

I will get things started:

1. You can post one ad per week on your regional board (MN) stating availability, rates, contact information, and anything else you want to say to attract customers, even add a pic. You can link your webpage to your ad if you have a TER banner on one of the first 2 pages of your site.

2. Check for reviews about yourself by searching reviews using your phone number or email address and leaving everything else blank. Once you have a review you can "claim" your review with your handle and that way everytime you post anything on any forum on TER an automatic link shows up to your review page. You then also get limited VIP which means you can read all the juicy details of your own reviews (not others) and you can use the PM system.

3. Once you have 3 reviews you can then click on the "Providers Only" link to the left (under the regional boards) and get into the providers only board. I am betting you can get lots of good information in there.

4. Being that you are VERY new to all this, I would suggest finding a local provider who you can call and pick her brain. The more information you have the better off you will be.

5. Join the national blacklist website (I am sorry I don't know the link), it will help you with your screening process and allow you to screen out deadbeats/abusers/LE.

6. Build a good reputation of consistency and punctuality. NCNS is a big problem on both sides of this hobby and if it can't be helped then call the client and let him know what is going on. Your reputation is as important as your service.

Good luck, play safe.
