I have gone back and forth between loving and despising the "girls"

I liked them through the Dandy Don years  up through the Roger Staubach era and then started really disliking them during the Danny White era which coincided with them being called Americas team, at which point I became a 100% Cowboys hater.

I remained a Cowboys hater up until they were so pitiful that I couldn't muster any more hate for them, they had become too pathetic to root against, Then Jerry Jones took over the team, promptly fired Tom Landry who I detested and became the "Florida Cowboys" at that point I became a fan again, even though they whipped up on my home town team the Forty Niners who would have most likely won another three or more Superbowls if it were not for the "Girls"

Right now I am ambivalent about them. I made money betting against them last week, but I made a few bucks betting on them while they were on their way to 6-1. As a gambler I try not to love or hate any team, either pro or college as emotions can get rather expensive for a gambler.

I have one team I hope wins every week.  Yesterday they barely beat a winless team.
I found consolation with  awesome losses by teams I don't cheer for.

Sunday was a happy football day for me , most of the  teams I like to see lose, lost
  with authority.
Losers below in least liked order

  Patriots ** 43          Broncos    21
  Chiefs       24         Jets         10
  Colts        40          Giants      24
  Rams       13          49ers       10
  Dolphins  37          Chargers   0
  Vikings    29           Redskins   26

Would have been a perfect Sunday if the Saints had lost.

** I'm  a Patriots fan when they are playing  the Broncos.

I am a Greenbay fan

F**k the Bears.

Now, all personal feelings aside, how can you not hate Dallas, I mean, just look at their fans.  Horrible.

I forgot the forgettable Cowboys.
  Cardinals  28   Cowboys 17    :-D

My excuse is I liked them when "Dandy Don" Meredith was their QB and they were knocking on the door of the Vince Lombardi Packers.  I think I truly started hating them when someone started calling them "America's Team."  Bullshit on that.  I'm glad Jerry Jones bought them because it makes them easier to hate. It's almost compulsory.

Actually, he got many things right back in the 90's, but like Al Davis before him with the Raiders he thought he was smarter than he was.  The Raiders were great when John Madden et al ran the Raiders, just like the Cowboys were great under Jimmy Johnson. Neither team was worth a shit after the respective owners began thinking that they knew more about football than the great coaches they had hired.

FWIW, I couldn't stand Tom Landry, getting rid of him was one of the smartest moves Jones could have made. The game had passed him by and he was a dinosaur who couldn't win in the modern era of football.
